He has involved himself in many styles of different music genres including electronic, rock, metal, dance, & experimental. Since the first song was released off the solo project named J0HNNY “spelled with a zero” j0hnny has been growing popularity rapidly throughout the internet including Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, and other social networking sites. The four song EP was released through Tunecore distribution and other digital outlets in Spring '08. The J0HNNY EP has sold over 25,000 + mp3's through iTunes/Amazon. "My solo stint a while back was to get me singing again and was a process for me to become a frontman. As novice as the projects of TMD and j0hnny were at that time & era, it has all lead to the development of my skills in the electronic music genre to continue to keep moving forward." - j0hnny j0hnny’s new band R0BOTS was created after he left The Medic Droid which broke up shortly after. R0BOTS is j0hnny (Johnny Chavez) on guitar, lead vocals, & programming along with well known rave dj/engineer, Jole Hughes aka S3RL. R0BOTS is currently working on material to be released, but no official deadlines/due dates were ever set. "I found my writers flow in early May 2011, some people find it earlier in life, and some people find it later in life. I feel fortunate enough to have finally found it, everything is sounding unlike anything myself or s3rl has created before in music. I've jotted down and recorded 1000's of riffs, and almost all have turned into songs over the past years, I feel we have something very special & unique with the songwriting that can't be matched.
