Why can't people think for themselves anymore?

Lamest things i've ever heard, but i hear it all the time:

"I stopped liking them because they got so popular"

That's only saying you liked them for the wrong reasons in the first place.

Like a band because of the MUSIC. Not because they're HOT. Not because their OBSCURE. Not because there the NEXT BIG THING and you can say you LIKED THEM FIRST. Because as soon as other people catch on and start liking them for the exact same reasons you do, you drop them, as if you're too good for them.

Do you like the song? Do you like the Band? Do you care if you're alone? Do you care if you're one of millions?
