Screamo? LAWLZ.

I was just brisking along random band pages, and I ran across something lawlz-worthy. Bury Your Dead's page reads in the genre descriptions, Hardcore/Metal (which so far are mostly accurate). But then something crazy happened. That silly word little word, which ranks among some of the most mistakenly used words of all time. "Screamo". What the heck? Bury Your Dead is not screamo. Sorry. But then again, neither are bands like Hawthorne Heights and Senses Fail. Which just makes me laugh at all these little scene kids with their overdone three toned hair and studded belts who think slipknot is the heaviest thing there is to offer, and that bands like Greeley Estates and Taking Back Sunday deserve to have any word begining, including, or ending with "mo" in their description other than a new genre name called "crap-mo".

You want to hear real emo? Go listen to early Hot Water Music or early Jimmy Eat World.

Screamo? Try Circle Takes The Square.

I read your blog and I thought I\'d totally add: Bury
Your Dead is definitely on tour with Korn. And the new
CD is freaking good love. The Bury Your Dead one, not
the Korn one. And gimme some Funyons.
