This should be a somewhat good summarization of the 2 nights, the real thing is super long, I left tons of things out.
Ryan performed at Warehouse Live! His show didn't do too good with ticket sells, it was around 150 or so and when I was passing out flyers either no one wanted them or they gave me weird looks like in "Why would I want to go see Ryan Cabrera?". Yeah people are so judgmental. Anyway we still passed them out and posted some in the cash register for the skating rink so everytime someone was going to skate they would see it and pick up a flyer....we did that after we got caught by the officer. Anyway back to the story, we got there pretty early because we were supposed to watch soundcheck but we didn't..we ended up hanging out at the supermarket. Then we were blasting Arctic Monkeys in the parking lot, we then got thirsty and went to get some drinks and on our way there we see ryan say hi and go get drinks...then we get back and just sit in the car. Ryan comes back and we start talking to him then he leaves and were just there. Decide to go pick up our tickets so we go and they said they didn't receive a list yet, all they had was Ryan's, but we ask them to check again and ends up we were on Ryan's list. Soo much more happens then the show. There is just something about Ryan's shows that you get hooked to, don't know what it is but they're good. Before him some guy sang named Jay Buchanan, I liked him, he had a really strong, nice voice. Then was Josh Hoge, he did good as well, I have to say I enjoyed the opening acts. Of course, then it was Ryan Cabrera and all the girls went crazy screaming for him. Like I said before, what Ryan Cabrera concert isn't fun? Theres just something about them, I guess all the great energy he has on stage, along with his band who he interacts with, and of course the interaction with the fans. During the show he agrees to sign autographs for everyone at the show, to my surprise right after the show he went and sat at the merch table and signed autographs ti'll everyone was happy, what a nice guy. During that time Lena and I were just sitting in the couches and talking, after he was done we talked to him a bit and were told he could get us in the Austin show if we went. Then we ended up leaving because it was already around 1A.M., got home and didn't sleep ti'll 4A.M. in which we decided we should head up to Austin and have a great time.
Wake up at 6:00A.M. and start packing everything up then go back to sleep. Around 1P.M. before we leave we get a cookie cake from Nestle to thank Ryan and everyone else since they were all super nice, especially Ryan's dad he was very nice and funny, hah. Well we starts heading to Austin around 3:30, since we don't know what to expect when we get there. After the long ride we finally get there and when we get out of the car everyone starts staring at us and a lot of them go "Awww, is that for Ryan?", then a lot of girls come to us asking questions, they start telling us where Ryan is, etc.... We get hungry so since it was at Subb's BBQ, we go in and eat, the food was good, I liked the atmosphere of the place. I take a trip to the restroom and find out the stage is right there, hah, Jay was doing his soundcheck during that time, I liked the way everything was setup. We leave the restaurant around 7:00 and go outside, then Ryan's dad comes up to us, and we start talking. We talk some then give them the cake for them to put in the bus, we were told to wait there ti'll they were back with Ryan. Finally they're back, we go in the bus and just give Ryan the cake, thank him, etc. Then he called to put us on the list and we leave to go in the show. The show was amazing, it had 10x's more energy then the show in Houston, lovely. Everyone was having a great time, I'm pretty sure that even the very punkish guys with mohawks in the back had an amazing time as well. Once the show was over we hung out for a while, said our goodbyes to his family, which we thanked and were glad to meet.
Let's just say Ryan is a really nice and cool guy, along with everyone else we ran into at the show.
The show was great. It felt like everyone was at a party having a great time, probably due to the fact that tons of people there knew the guys from Bowling for Soup one way or another. I'm not a fan of their music but they know how to put on a show, they had tons of "beer breaks" which I found it to be a good idea, hah. People used them wisely, I will tell you that. Then they had a puppet show, haha, very entertaining, plus all the jokes they would tell in between songs. Even if you don't like them one bit, I will guarantee you will have fun at one of their shows, the jokes and interaction they have with the crowd makes the show entertaining for one.
Last Night was the We Are Scientist and Arctic Monkeys show, let me just tell you they were amazing. I of course, being a fan of their music expected it to be good, but it was BETTER than good, especially with the lighting they had, made a great show. I left the show happy.
Well let's trace back to when Lena and I got there..
We got to the venue at 5:00p.m. and we went to the store and were just walking around and then we decided to go into this one store that we always see people go in.. so we start heading that way and then out of nowhere this dude pops up heading over there too.. and we just keep walking and these girls come running and there like "Are you following him?" and were like "Huh?Who?" and they point and we're like "Is that Alex?" and they're like "yeah!" so were like "ooh" (but we could only see his back.. and it did look like him..) so we get in the store and turns out it wasn't him just someone who works with them.. hahaha it was funny though because we all stared at him like if we were going to ask him something. Then around 8:00 or so we go in and we start passing flyers to people coming in the doors and like Lena said 50% of the people we gave flyers to had accents!! Then the show starts and that place was packed and we're all the way in the back, so excuse the videos...you can only see like little things moving.. haha but the music can be heard really good and thats all that matters.
OVERALL = We Are Scientist and Arctic Monkeys are GREAT.

Went to the Halifax concert with Stephanie, I was still sick so I couldn't really talk and that morning I had woken up with no voice. Well we got there way too early because we were not able to get there later..so we were just out there sitting and playing with this one cat with no tail..and enjoying watching the hispanics that lived around there..then just watching the band members unload and stuff...and listening to soundcheck, etc. Then around 7:00P doors opened..haha we had been waiting since forever. I was not planning on buying anything but I ended up buying a shirt, their new CD (because it was only for $8!), and of course the ticket. We ended up getting side stage, front row, so that was cool. First up was The Sleeping, then Hit the Lights, then it was HALIFAX, after that it was Bayside. Who had the best performance? Of course in my opinion it was Halifax, most of the people were there for Bayside though, not us. Well after Halifax played we got out of the front and went to the restroom then we were just in the back and the guys from Halifax were just hanging around so we got a picture with all of them except the lead singer, Mike. What sucked was that I couldn't talk, my "thank you" came out really low..and one can barely hear it. That was a pretty brief summary..hah..otherwise I would be here writing all morning.
Halifax song order:
Anthem for Tonight ( intro with some metallica song)
A Writers Referance
Nightmare
Our revolution
Hey Italy
Broken Glass Syndrome
I Hate Your Eyes

I went to 104 KRBE's Birthday Bash, they had Nick Lachey and Anna Nalick perform, it was a Free show, all you had to do is win/get tickets from 104. We ended up meeting Nick Lachey while we were walking around....how funny. After a while we went in. First up was Anna Nalick, she did really good, very nice/sweet person, good voice too. Then was Nick Lachey, of course everyone went crazy. Was he lip-synching? I mean he sounded too perfect, plus I've been to many shows...and it just seemed like it. They also didn't allow digital cameras, hah. Although I will have to say that I enjoyed the show, it was nice and mellow.
