This is pretty much the first blogpost I've ever written. I feel like this is a good place to start because no one will read it, so I'm writing to nobody. If you happen to read this let me know, until then, I won't write another one. Anyways, I kind of am getting the impression that no one really uses purevolume anymore. It came to my mind the other day, and I thought I would give it a little visit. I enjoy it mucho because I no longer download illegally, so this gives me a wonderful opportunity to get some free music. I get the impression that primarily christian rock bands and young kids represent the majority of the people who still use purevolume. But I got nothing against them, rock on! Some bands that I've found are actually really good. Specifically, I really didn't think I'd find anything but the regular old high school punk rebel bands from the Battle Creek area, but I was pleasantly surprised by a tri called CELESTIAL MISCHIEF. I didn't believe they were actually from BC the first time I heard them, but they have a really good, different sound, and the girl is an amazing singer in my opinion. I hope they do big things to show everybody in Battle Creek that playing guitar, bass, or drums doesn't necessarily mean that you have to be in a shitty punk band. Sorry to all the shitty punk bands, and if you're not confident enough to shrug that off, then your punk band probably is shitty. PEACE OUT! Nate
