I understand that we will probably never be more than friends because of what I've done, but I will always love you anyway. You are the closest person I have ever had in my life. I feel closer to you than my own family. You continually encourage me to become a stronger person. You are the only person that I feel I can tell absolutely anything. You are more mature than me! lol Yet you still know how to have fun. Every time I'm with you I have such a great time. Thank you so much for being the amazing friend that you are.

ouch....

So I was snowboarding at Boston Mills last night with rob and Renee. Renee was getting tired and her butt hurt from falling (lol) so she went inside for a little while. Well Rob and I decided to take that time to go on bigger hills. We took a few runs down Peter's Pride and then we decided to hit the terrain park for a bit. The first jump I hit was a box jump with barrels at the top. So basically u had to get lots of speed to get enough air to clear the barrels. It was the first free styling I had had done all season. Well it was only my second time boarding this season because of the lack of snow and my lack of money. But no one else was hitting that jump and it really wasn't much different from the box that they had last year. You just couldn't pussy out on this one. It was all or nothing. Because if you did go all out you'd hit the barrels. Well I went for it and rob got a really lousy video. lol it came out dark and to far away. But whatever. So I went for it and cleared the barrels really easy. The ramp was perfect. I got more air than I was expecting and washed out onto my butt when I landed. No problem. Wasn't a hard landing and I almost nailed it first try so I went back up to try again. Rob went first and he kind of went of to the side to avoid the barrels. He waited for me by the ramp. I took off down the hill. This time I had even more speed. I wanted to give it my all. I cleared the barrels by about 3ft. Unfortunately I had so much air I cleared the landing too. I hit the flat ground hard and my board caught toeside. I flipped forward and landed hard on my shoulder. I sat up and unstrapped my board. I had a hard time getting it off because I was so dizzy. Rob came running over. By this I was starting to feel pain in my shoulder. It wasn't bad yet though. I just thought I was going to have a nasty bruise. However when I reached up to grab my shoulder I felt a searing pain shoot through my body. I put my right hand on the left side of my collar bone. I felt a huge lump sticking out of my collar bone. Thats when I knew something was really wrong. All of a sudden I started coughing. The taste of blood hit my mouth and panic struck. I started spitting blood. I told rob that I thought my collar bone was broke. He ran up to the guy operating the lift and told him I was hurt. A few minutes later (but what seemed like forever) a ski patrol guy showed up along side me. I don't really much of what he said to me. By this point I was drifting into a daze. I remember telling him that I thought my collar bone was broken. He didn't think it was because it usually breaks in the middle where it kind of sticks out. He thought that maybe it was just dislocated. Unfortunately for me I wasn't that lucky. More ski patrol showed up with a toboggan. They helped me onto it. They strapped me in and we made our way down his hill. It seemed like we were going so fast at the bottom, even though I've got 5x faster on my board. They took me into the first aid center. They got me up onto a table to check me out. They had to cut off my shirt because I couldn't move my arm. Of course I couldn't have been wearing some crappy shirt. I was wearing my Flyleaf shirt that Renee had bought me for my 18th b-day. It was one of my favorites. I was having a hard time breathing so they put me on oxygen till my color came back. They said they weren't sure if it was broken or not. They called an ambulance and minutes later I was being transported to Sagamore Hills Medical Center. They guy in the ambulance was nice. He kept making sure that was comfortable. When we arrived at the hospital I was wheeled into a room and the EMTs helped me onto the bed. A doctor said that they were preparing the radiology lab to get some x-rays. I was laying there by myself for most of the time. I just wanted Rob and Renee to be there with me. The girl from radiology came to get me. She wasn't all that helpful. She helped me into the wheelchair, but when we got to radiology she walked away and I had to get up myself. I was so sore it hurt to lean forward, and it physically impossible to stand from sitting in a wheelchair without leaning. But I managed. I also had to get back into the wheelchair and back into bed on my own. I was about to tell her, Lets see you break your collar bone and try to sit up and lay down on your own! Shortly after, the doctor came in and told me that my clavicle was broken. He said it was broken in a very unusual place. Like the ski patrol had said, it usually breaks towards the middle. Mine, however, broke at the head of the bone by my shoulder. It was my first time breaking a bone (other than my toe. lol). When he showed me the x-ray all I could think was wicked! The head of the bone is about an inch below the rest. Finally Rob and Renee came in and my Dad and Grandma followed. Rob looked at the x-ray and said, Nice one! They gave my some vicodin and said I could go. There really wasn't much hey could do. The doc said to see an orthopedic surgeon within the week. So here I am, sitting at my sisters house typing all this with one hand. The pain is tolerable as long as I remember to take my meds every 4 hours. The dead weight of my arm hanging in the sling is starting to make my neck sore but its not horribly bad. I think I have a high pain tolerance. Breaking a bone didn't hurt near as bad as I would have thought. I think the ski patrol was a little surprised at how well I was taking it. And as for the rest of my snowboarding season, I think its safe to say I'm done. But don't worry, Ill be back out there ripping up the slopes next year.

Well I'm glad that your clavicle is doing better =)
Yeah Ranee told me about your car, that really stinks!!
We all missed you last saturday!! God just really won't
give you a break lately will he haha. Well everything
will work out, hopefully soon so we can see you again.
b/c we haven't hung out in a while.
