parents are lame

My parents are so paranoid about online predators. Seriously, they blocked YouTube and Myspace on my computer because they were afraid the "bad guys would get me". Their words, not mine.

Well, today they finally decided that I could handle going on to the internet without training wheels, and took off SOME of the parental controls, under the conditioin that I won't get a Myspace account.
What the hell! I mean, they are even going to "check" to see if I get one. Yeah right.

I know they're just "looking out for my best interests", but seriously, it's like they're meaning to retard me socially.

Could I be any more of a dork bitching about this on an account that no one even looks at anyway?
