I'm from Finland, but currently living in Osaka, Japan.
Believe it or not, but I love music to death. I feel very weird and lonely without music. I can't just be in my room without music playing all the time.
What else should I tell about myself... well, I like Japan. And I hate when people want to talk shit about that country to be, because they know I love it. Yeah, whatever, everyone has their opinions, but seriously I DON'T CARE! Leave me alone! Also, I DON'T watch anime and no I DON'T read manga.
The music I listen to is mostly Japanese, but that DOESN'T mean that I ONLY listen to Japanese music. You see, I listen to music from other countries too!! I'm not that stereotypical Japan-freak-kid you maybe think I am.
Reason why I signed up in purevolume was to find new music. I'm addicted to finding new bands, especially if they are indie! And mainly I started to look for Japanese bands, but now I've decided to check out other bands too. I don't want to stick in one country, because music is universal!!
I study media at vocational school. *hooray*
And the reason why I'm in Osaka is that I have my on-the-job learning here, I'm a "web designer".

This and that
Yeah I KNOW I haven't been blogging for ages, even though this was supposed to be my music orientated blog of all time... and there's so much things I could've had written about. For example, my first festivals in 2007, Ruisrock and Ankkarock. And all the other live gigs I've been to, they were so amazing! ESPECIALLY ELLEGARDEN! Oh jeez. I need to post an entry just for them, it's so big. This entry is not so much about music. Well, I could say that I have approx 100 cds now! Last year I bought about 20 from Japan, and this year 24!! So over all, I've bought about 50 cds from Japan (online shopping not included!). After discovering Keltainen Jäänsärkijä in Helsinki, I sometimes go there to see if there's anything for me... and almost alway- there is!! Becuase my life isn't just Japanese music. For example, I'm deeply in love with Millencolin, Alkaline Trio, Jack's Mannequin, Third Eye Blind, Garbage, Stereophonics, Bright Eyes, etc, and they are not Japanese! I'm addicted to cds. Just love them, ohh! So, anyway. I try to keep up with this blog! To be honest, I haven't been an active purevolume user for MONTHS! I HAVE TO FIX IT!! - Hikari
Idols 2007 - a one big fiasco
Today is the grand finale of Finnish Idols 2007. Unfortunately my favorite, Mia, was voted out already in the 2nd finalist round :/ something is badly wrong with Finns. Seriously. She was the best this competition ever had.
But, luckily we still got Ari. He's a natural talent, and attitude is great. Though he divides opinions. But I still believe Finns can be wise at this one time, and vote him as the winner. Because Anna is not ready yet. She's only 17, and she says she is ashamed of herself, so doesn't that tell something? And she TOTALLY has the "pissis" girl reputation.
And yesterday "Idols Awards"... they sucked. Honestly. The most interesting persona was a girl who I only remember 'cause of her dirty song in auditions. AAAAAAAARGH!
And the most stunning performance.. TO RUSLANAS WTF? And they say he's a GIFT to Finland, from Latvia or Liethua, I don't give a damn. I don't even care how do you spell thos countries in English. (Latvia and Liettua in Finnish).
He's just sooooo disgusting :/
Mom also whines about the fact it's Good Friday. Yeah yeah, Jesus died, WANHA. We've already heard that, just get over it.. we can still celebrate!
Though, IF Anna wins, we have a reason to be extremely unhappy.

A little bit growing
I am really growing up as a fan. I kinda thought ELLE was all mine and no one could be a bigger fan than me.
But now all I want is their success, I don't care if I have to "share" them. Of course it's always more the merrier. It's great that other people find so much joy from their stuff, too.
And I want to get to know those other fans more. That why I made a forum (only for elle-fans !!)

I didn't know that you could throw up from the nose, until yesterday. I can say that was disgusting. Yuck.

I hope JrockSuomi will bring us many many great bands. So far, all the gigs have been superb ! But they should understand Gloria is a crappy crappy place. I liked Nosturi and Tavastia a LOT better !
I can't wait for ELLE's gig. I'm going to freak out. FINALLY I'LL SEE MY ULTIAMTE ALL-TIME FAVORITE BAND ! Isn't that just awesome ?! Yeah !
I also wrote some lyrics that aren't maybe punk enough. I'm so emo.

It's pretty much a miracle I'm writing to this blog because I never do, only place where I keep track of stupid things I've done is LiveJournal. (I'm kuroriyuu at there, so feel free to poke me). But maybe because this site is about music, I'll write here. Yes, I will write here my musical experiences ! Haha. But I still will write them to my LJ too because I'm too addicted .___.
Hmm. Or then this blog is just continue to my billboard. I never get tired of talking of what I think about music, and especially music business. I want to analyze EVERYTHING. Harharhar. Though I'm pretty sure I will get no friends here and no one will read my blog, 'cause I'm pretty unsocial online. Yeah, I'm more social offline when I can see everyone and talk a lot and use my real impressions, don't have to use those smiles, etc. And I'm pretty crazy... or more like.. hmm.. weird ? Yep, that's me. And you can't do weird stuff better in online than offline !
