another path is in sight for you to leave, only this one is further away than last time.
what is left of me for you? a human, wrapped in flesh and painted with running makeup.
do the smells of the lake, or the last look in my eyes ever haunt your thoughts?
i wish the chains of time would hook into your skin and never let you disappeare from sight.
every night was filled with laughter and the last time you touched me, it branded me with pain.
the last thing i can say, wouldnt matter, only this instance is to say i love you, and goodbye.
but i apologize for this knife behind my back, dont take it personally. its the best for both of us.
