They say summer holds such wonderful things..
And im really hoping for this summer to be amazing.
Sometimes spending 6 weeks away from everyone can be so hard, but sometimes its all I need. I need this time away to get away from life. Get away from drama. Focus on myself, something I never do.
I plan on seeing some old friends.
Go downtown, act like a tourist in this crazy town.
Its the weirdest thing walking around DC seeing all these people who are so excited to be there, who wait years to go, and its in my backyard. A metro stop away. Im so lucky to have connections in a city like this, so lucky that im not stuck in a place like Ohio where its so limited. No culture, nothing big.
So heres the summer. To the traveling skirt and all the memories I hope I make.
