Well, i went to Warped Tour on August 4,2007 so this is a little late but i didn't know how to do this before so umm... here goes...
So, i went to Warped Tour on August 4,2007 at Nassau Collesium (still don't know if i'm spelling that word right) and it was definetely not as good as Bamboozle but i still think it was pretty freakin amazing. First of all, it was really hot and gross so everyone was like drenched in sweat, half of it not even being your own because your bumping into people and rubbing against them when you walk past and everything. It was like 97 degrees there because of the fact that your standing on blacktop and there are so many people. Anyways though, you just gotta deal with that, but i went with my family and they weren't that into it. At Bamboozle my dad was insane. It was so much fun, but because of the heat and everything he really didn't wanna be there. I watched Boys Like Girls, Paramore, Hawthorne Heights, Circa Survive, and Cute is What We aim for. Then of course all the less none bands that i don't know the names of.
So now, since i don't know what else to say, the best part of Warped Tour which was the only reason it is even considered to be close to what Bamboozle was, to me anyways. I crowd surfed for the first time and it was AMAZING!!!! it was during Cute Is What We aim For and the song was "There's A Class For This". It was the last song they were playing and i knew that i was leaving right after that because my family wanted to go so i got up the courage to do it and i did. The first time i fell through after a made it a couple feet, but the second time i made it all the way to the stage!!! May i say that Shaant is a very beautiful man (in Madison's words) I kinda just froze at the stage though. Couldn't move, couldn't scream but i was shaking. I finally realized that i had to walk around because the song had ended and everyone was leaving that stage. I went and found my dad and i had to ask him if i actually did that. it was the coolest thing i've ever done in my life!!!
We left at like 4:30 which i wasn't too happy about but atleast i ended it well. I did have to miss The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Underoath, which were 2 of the bands i had wanted to see the most. Actually, i was planning to crowd surf to The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, but that doesn't matter anymore cause it was still really cool.
Ok, so that was my Warped Tour experience but i know only Madison and Maggie are gonna read this and i already told you guys all about this. Anyways, well not really sure how to end this... so... bye byes.
