Update in the life of a boy named Blake...
Wow, it's been about 3 months since my last blog.
Life's just been so crazy lately...
School started, GODSPEED's doing a lot of stuff, marching band's been going nonstop... now I finally a day off, good old LABOR DAY! Anyways...
Schools been really sweet. cool classes with cool people.
My band's been practicing and getting better, even doing various shows and whatnot...
Marching band offically sucks this year, cuz we lost a lot of seniors this year and we're so young... I don't know, we just seem as good as we were last year.
Mustang football is 1-1, not to bad, lol.
Mr. Bob Sawyer from MVHS died of a massive heart attack this past week. It was such a shock and the whole school was in a state of unbelievable gloom...
Well, overall it's been sweet... it just seems like lifes going by too fast...
oh, and did I mention I turned 16 on 8/27? Well, I did... lol

I wrote this song after being to youth camp and realizing what I was really made to do...
God made me to bless his name with the musical talent I have...
He made me realize that I need to slow things down, look at all the wrong I did and make it right...
Then I will see what god has in store for me...

Getting Some Jesus On At Camp With Camp...
Yeah I went to Youth camp with my church and other CH churches in West Carolina.
It was butt loads of fun.. plus it really helped me spiritually.
Room A was a mess. A room with 10 people and 3 twin beds... just use your imagination... ;)
The spirit was moving in the building thanks to Jason Camp, the preacher for the week.
Now for Props...
Props to Randy Rhodes: the greatest councelor of all times.
Props to Brandon Baggott and Jacob Hicks for getting kicked out of the room and being put in the dungeon to rot. he he he
Props to Junior for playing guitar and singing with me...
Props to Jason Camp for having the nerve to rap and then preachin in front of hundreds of people.
Props to JC's daughter for the singing the living crap out of any song she sang (she's only 11 and she sings like she's a freaking 30 year old).
Props to Jody for being to the greatest CE director of all times.
Props to Jesus... he's awesome.

BACK FROM MYRTLE BEACH (aka Cancoon, SC). Great good old american family fun... it was really sweet.
The highlight of course was Sequoyah live from Fresh Brewed Coffee. Two other bands were there (The Western Front and Scattered Rivalry) which were both pretty sweet. But, niether could compare the greatness of SPS. If you ever get a chance to see them live, they are incredible.
Anyways, I got home about 2 hours ago and I'm starting to settle back down... although I won't have long, for, hence, 2moro I will embark on my church's youth camp to good ole Rutherforten, NC until Friday... yay...
It should be sweet, unless I have to clean toilets again for sneaking out (he he) Mr. Jason Camp will be preaching the word of God and I hope he does a darn good job.
Well, my wrists are starting to hurt, so I'll stop...
