Evanescence Concert
Well, I to the Evanescence concert last Wednesday! It was awesome! I'm with an organization that is called GrammyU. Since I am minoring in Music Business I signed up to be apart of GrammyU. It allows you to meet different bands and ask them questions about the music industry today. So I got to meet Tony from Evanescence. Yes, I wish I could have met the whole band too including Amy Lee! That is not exactly how is worked out. Amy Lee gave us students a private performance of 3 songs. She played Good Enough and Call Me When You're Sober along with another song that none of us knew. She took requests from us though, and then we had Q&A time with the whole band. Amy Lee answered all the questions though! She is so cool and open about everything! I got a good tip for my future career! Then we got free tickets in the pit to see them that night! I would say all in all it worked out very nice! ttyl!
Skillet
If ya'll noticed I have updated my profile pic! Woohoo! I planned for two weeks (that is how long I knew there was going to be a free Skillet concert in the area) to go see Skillet! I have actually never seen in concert before last night! Let me say that they can rock really hard!! Oh, yeah! What was really cool though was Manic Drive showing up to play some songs before Skillet! I like Manic Drive! I'm as into them as Skillet! I love the 'Memories'! That is such an awesome song! They did play it. Along with their new one that is out of the radio. I thought that was pretty cool! Then I didn't have to wait long before Skillet came on, and it got crazy! I'm not a total full out Skillet fan, but let's see if I can give ya'll an idea of their set list: Collide, My Obsession, Forsaken, Savior, Alien Youth, Angels Fall Down, You are My Hope (I love that song!), Best Kept Secret, and You're Powerful. It was fun! I went alone, and it was still a blast! I just prayed before I walked in the doors that God would allow to have a fun time, and He just answered my prayers! How cool is that? He is so good to me! Anyway, ttyl!
