I am so in love with Showbread right now.No,not just cos Josh Dies is cute - I find their music very unique and refreshing from the mainstream rock stuff nowadays that everyone listens to.

The music scene around where I live - or rather the zilch scene.
The last time I came on here to blog,my computer hanged.So I guess I'm now still a bit wary of whether this thing will give up on me again.Hope not,coz PV's supposed to have done away with the bugs and viruses by now.
Nothing much has happen so far around here since that last time...yeah I suppose I did discover a few other great bands out there doing somemore PV surfing,but that has been just about it.I lead a dull life haha.
I really can't wait to get out of here.All these shows that they keep featuring on PV never happen around here.I mean,sheesh,what bands play in Singapore?!Nobody famous and underground.
I'm not those kind going around boppin' to tunes along the lines of The Click Five or Franz Ferdinand for that matter,so nobody'll expect to catch me hangin' around those areas where they're having their shows - yeah the only shows around here that get bigger audiences than most,but I'm not having any.
The music scene around here is really bad - or should I just say pathetic.So we do have a few good local bands here like Ronin and Electrico - but they're not enough!And staying here in Singapore just means that I'll get an almost nil chance of ever watching some bands like say Rookie of the Year perform live!
MTV is just plain ol' dumb,I'm not interested in Fallout Boy (do I have them on my favourite artists list??Hope not.) and neither do I wanna watch all those black rap videos with boobies bouncing aorund every corner of the TV.
Just what I'm trying to put across,I guess,is that the music scene here needs a little updating for people like me who prefers underground stuff to hits on the radio (or those Idol shows for that matter).Damn,it's already bad enough when you have to actually ORDER a CD from a local obscure indie shop for CDs like eg. Letter Kills,which I'm sure is available almost everywhere else in the world.
Sheesh.I'm out.
