I'm a full-on Jesus Freak who wants to love God with everything I've got! I love all u church camp peoples! And all those people who are'nt Christian. And....just about everyone. People say thats really corny, saying you love everyone. But I think that if you dont love or at least try to love everyone you see, you're just not being real. Hey, I know. I'm not perfect. I dont try to be. No one is. But thank God that He forgives no matter how bad we mess up. I'd be nothing w/o him. For real. There's just so much joy in me ! I can't get enough of Him! I am on fire for God and want to know as much as I can about him and about his will for me. And tellin' all those people about Him. I embrace persecution. I just love it when someone says they have no clue who God is, then I get to step in and tell them. Life w/o God is bleak and meaningless. People who dont know of His joy and love and sacrifice are better off dead. So I take it upon myself with the help of whoever I can get to tell them. Like, if I have the cure for cancer and dont tell anyone, how evil am I?! But I know of the cure for hell! I dont want anybody downthere. So get on your knees! Tell Him you love Him!
The closer to the ground you are, the closer to God you are.

OMG! JAMES AND KIM ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most of you probobly dont care, but i am soooo happy for them!
I'm extatic! I can't believe it!!!! Well, actually, i think everyone knew it was coming....
James Adams and Kim Nelson were both leaders at my church.
They started dateing but didnt let anyone but the other leaders know until a year after!
They were so sweet together.
They even teach at the same school!
But they left the church just last summer and i havent seen them since November.
And then i find out just last week that they're getting married!!!!
They've been engaged for two weeks now and I'm soo happy for them!
The thought seems kinda weird to me, but I'll get used to it.
God Bless their lives together....

So I've been gone for the whole spring break for those of you who've noticed.
I went with my church on a missions trip to the Navajo Indian reservation.
Lemme just say:
IT WAS AWESOME!
I had such an amazeing time!
We partnered up with another church and i got to know them and even my own church so well.
We became the closest family ever.
It was also a great week of service.
We woke up early to do service projects and it was a load of fun.
We did nifty jobs like make concerete and wire lights and axe wood.
Then we did Bible study for little Navajo children, and by the end of the week, 24 of them came to Christ.
It was cool.
Everyone had a different experiece because of the different work sites.
God was with the people at the trip.
I can't even start to explain how it was!
I just wanted you all to know that i had a wonderful week and would do it again in a heart beat.

So today was Mike Memmot's, the High School pastor, last day at the church.
I'm going to miss him.
I hugged him and nearly started crying and he was all "Ginger, Ginger, dont worry"
That was one of the sweetest things ive ever heard him say.
The whole high scoll section was crying.
A lady in big church actually got mad at all of us for making too much noise while crying for Mike.
I feel bad for the head pastor, Rich, who has to manage all this.
I've seen alot of people come and go. It gets very discourageing. It's times like this where you jsut have to trust God.
All the other pastors at our church are earnestly praying.
I constantly miss all the pastors that leave, but i know they'll be fine.
I feel like they're all giving up on the church, but God is calling them elsewhere.
If they were truely meant to be there, they'd stay, and i believe that.
It's hard getting attatched to one and them letting them go.
God Bless all the pastors there.
*sigh*
Goodbye, Mike. And Godspeed.

"What do you live for? Is it something to stand for?"
P.S. GUNG HAY FAT CHOY!
Well, Today I spoke in both services at my church.
I got really nerveous!
But I'm used to speeches so, i calmed down pretty nicely.
In bother services i gave my faith story. it wasnt very long, i did a longer version at my school.
but is went really well!
i made a funny joke beofre starting each time.
Matt, the new worship leader introduced me as a 7th grader and mispronounced my school name, so when i got up there i was all "Umm..im actually in 8th grade..."
and everyone started laughing.
So, next time around, Matt said that he totally messed up last service and properly introduced me.
When i went up again, i said "It's ok Tony. I forgive you!"
It was pretty hilarious. I didnt even mean to call him Tony. lol.
But, yeah.
I hope someone out there was touched by it. It was an awesome, interesting, and humbling experience.
When i first arrived at church, i went over to youth group and they wished me luck. (they might've prayed for me, but i think i left too early, i know they announced it to everyone. lol)
I went over to the main sanctuary and i was kind of early, so i had to find a place to sit.
I was emptier than i thought it would, so i had to sit a little closer than normal.
What i didnt know is, i sat in the same row the pastor and his wife sit before he goes to speak.
I was just on the far end of the pew.
I was scheduled to go up after the music but, to my amazement, i arrived before worship even started.
First service has slower songs than second and i didnt know the words, so i stood there soaking it all in. I proboly prayed like a billion times not to mess up during that time!
I was facing my right and i didnt see that Rich, the pastor, approached me from my left.
He came up and hugged me from the side and asked me if i was ready. So, we talked for a while and prayed and what not. I was amazed at how much care he expressed. I hadnt thought much of going up to speak, but he thought it was wonderful that i was willing to do such.
He and one of my teachers were the only ones that encouraged me every step of the way.
(And , of course, God definitely helped too!)
I was speechless. (which wasnt good at the time because i had to speak in like 2 minutes)
A life lesson learned from that day:
A small hug, a slight smile, a little prayer
can mean so much, and show you truly do care.

"What do you live for? Is it something to stand for?"
WAAAAA!!!!
Tony,The worship leader of our church had to leave last Sunday.
He's been there for four years!
The church had to cut someone in the worship department and so they were going to cut the assistant worship leader, Matt.
But Tony stepped up and took the fall for him!
That was an awesome thing to do.
And i know that he'll be alright. God will take care of him.
Matt needed the job more than Tony...
I'll still miss him though.
YOU ROCK TONY!
~GG~
P.S. I'm also kinda speaking in church this Sunday, so if you would pray for me, that'd be awesome!
Thx!
