WINNER, STRANGE DAY:
As I've written before, my band Strange Day, is on the verge OF getting something really significant going. We started the band only a year ago and we were already able to get upwards of 17,000 plays or something on our profile. we've got a nice littIe buzz going on, and we need that extra something to push us over, you know? I think are fans have been a big part of our growth. Our music is different from what is out there now, and I think people appreciate that we don't look like anyone, don't sound like anyone, and are really marching to the beat of our own drum.
Another thing that I feel like the fans enjoy, is the fact that we keep in touch religiously with our fan base. We did a contest earlier this year, where we sent out free copies of our debut EP as well as autographed photos.
The reason why I think it would be awesome to get on your profile is because we can truly use all the support we can get! We are preparing for another tour this summer! It is really exciting getting feedback and getting connected with all of our fans through our websites. We are trying to build a fan base and the best way to do that is by referral. How often have you been hipped to a band from one of your friends, you know? For me, it's been a countless number of times. I really think that you recognize that, and it is mad cool that you have taken the intiative to offer that opportunity of exposure to bands/musicians. I hope that I was able to impress upon how much this would mean to us, and how appreciative we would be of the opportunity. Thanks a whole lot darlin'!
