push to talk phones

I can't stand these phones, they're everywhere now days. I though cellphones were for private conversations or emergencies for that matter... Where I work, I hear those beeps every now and then...to top it off, you can pretty much listen to the person on the phone 10 feet away...I'm sorry, but I do not want to listen to your conversations that go on for minutes. You do not need a walkie talkie to say I'm going to the store to buy some milk and pick up Jimmy from Soccer practice... It also bothers me that people are talking on the phone while they're eating...(I work at a restaurant). If people are really itching to use the walkie talkie thing, turn the beep off!
