Oy! My name's Robert Klingler, and I'm working on starting a Wizard Rock band of my very own (http://www.purevolume.com/siriusandtheblacks) with my bestest friend Jessica. The doe looks up
Startled by the sound
Of troops gathering, chanting,
Marching on.
The Army is gathering
And I do not hesitate or falter in my steps
For I know not the hour or the day of their
Departure.
I prepare for battle
With sweaty clothes, heavy gear
And gritty paint on my face.
Every day I walk a narrow dirt road
Never knowing what lies ahead
But confident that it will lead me to Glory.
Many eyes watch
And beg to know why I gave up everything I had
For this.
Every day is a battle for the souls of millions
Never knowing which breath will be my last,
But with my cross on my back I fight.
We are the losers, the freaks
The forgotten.
We are scared to death but unafraid.
Our battlecry echoes across the ends of the earth
And nothing--
Not death nor the powers of Hell--
Can silence it.
Can't you hear us coming?
We are the Army.
As we march the rocks cry out, the trees applaud,
And the mountains stomp their feet.
All of creation groans like a man deep in prayer
For our victory.
And the doe looks up.
My next 3D project after Master Chief will be making an animation of that poem, with Carly reading.
Well...
My 4th was a 5 out of ten, I suppose. Shot a .300 Winchester Magnum bolt-action at my grandparent's house... I love that weapon. Only a 4 round clip, can you believe that?
Fireworks display in DeSoto was mediocre... I wish she was able to be there. Maybe next year.
