my music flavor is a very vast and eclectic variety of bands/artists, but i am not so ordinary. I am just a girl...i am aspiring to be a song writer, well i claim anyway. i am really just a ametuer poet chasing dreams in my head. i am usually outgoing but can be rather shy. i love to travel. i have lived in wichita falls, TX; San Antonio, TX; Las Vegas, NV; and just about everywhere on the west side of the mitten. music gets me through any situation. music heals, music inspires, music is life. i grew up in a small farm town where we learned to entertain ourselves so really, playing outside, building forts, riding bikes, catching frogs, collecting pogs and baseball cards, the radio, and cassette player/ cds were about it for entertainment. i love mom's homeade cooking, classic cars, working, writing, singing really loud in my car, going to concerts (mostly local shows), drinking of course, and animals. i don't like superficial people or people who like to shove their privelaged lifestyles in my face, or people who try to push their religion on you. i love grand rapids because of the music and artist scene, i just like to have fun and live life, hell, i don't know when it will be over...

THE BLACK PARADE...
NEW YORK (Billboard) - Rock band My Chemical Romance will kick off a North American arena tour February 22 in Manchester, N.H., in support of its current album, "The Black Parade."
Dates are booked through March 16 in Reno, Nev., but more will be added to the itinerary. Support acts are Rise Against and Muse.
"We're going to retain the essence of a rock show," My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way told Billboard.com. It's not going to be like seeing (Pink Floyd's) 'The Wall.' It's going to bring the music and the band and the record to life. It's going to be theatrical without detracting from (the music); it's not going to be surface over substance."
Way added that My Chemical Romance will perform part of the show as the Black Parade, the circus-like alter ego it adopts on the new album. "We're really focusing on being great performers, then the theatrics will come into play," he said.
Before the North American dates, the band will head to Australia and New Zealand for the Big Day Out tour. The group is also already booked for the Bamboozle festival in early May in New Jersey.

The mirror

I wake in the morning to shower before work
I get out and wipe the mirror as every day before
I wipe the mirror only to see
This face of failure staring back at me
Oh the look of shame on that face
That pitiful look of disgrace
Those eyes, so deep and so dead
Full of nothing bur anger and self hatred
I just stare at that face in the mirror
Wondering what changed so in the last few years
To being so happy and so blessed
Now angry and such a mess
Realizing things could be so much worst
Yet nothing can take away this hurt
Alcohol works for merely hours
But I wake again, a bigger coward
Looking down at the bathroom sink
Tears start to fall like the faucet leak
Because the anger has gotten the best of my heart
And it tears my brain and my insides apart.
I tell myself, you did this to you
Now its time to feel the wrath, you fool
Punch yourself, one, two, three times in the face
Cut your arm with a sharp blade
You will feel better and the pain will subside
Not the pain of blades or blows, but the pain inside
It feels so much better, but you feel like a freak
If anyone knew, they would think the attentions what you seek
But they dont know what it is that eats at you
