I just now read an article on how cocoa companies use child slave labor on the ivory coast. So no more chocolate, well certain companies at least, for me! check it out for yourself at www.radicalthought.org. It sure does makes my heart bleed. But there are some things that I want for, more than I want to eat.
If I had a quarter for every time I saw a goth at Dennys at two in the morning. I'd be a extra quarter wealthier.
So The set up is obviously Denny's at two. I had my polaroid with me since I had just come from seeing my friend jasons' band play. When to Jason and myselfs astonishment neo from matrix walks in. Upon closer inspection we noted that it just happened to be the common variety/genus of goth that grows around the area. So being a lil' bit hyper and just half retarded like I am, I have this great idea to play pokemon snap, only I like call it gothemon snap, and take the liberty of taking this fellows soul via taking his picture. I figured he'd be happy if I rid him of some extra weight also known as his soul. I thought it sounded pretty goth. Anyways, he heads outside, Jason and I follow only to discover a whole herd. I chicken out of actually taking the picture but volunteer to get their attention, so as, to have them all face the camera. I walk up to the peeps and kindly said: (with the most unintimidating voice in the world, imagine like an old grandmas) "hey you guys." ( I thought of actually quoting the Matrix by saying "don't eat the green pill." (thinking that any refrences to goth sci fi would give me some street cred.) but decided that "hey you guys" would work better. So they all turn. Jason presses the shutter button....Insert one of the most awkard moments of my life here. So we stood there for about twenty seconds waiting for the flash to warm up enough to take the picture. meanwhile neo and his cronies glared us down. the flah snapped and we did what you do in those sort of situations. we giggled and ran away. It was honestly one of the most random and funniest things that I've done in a while. But well worth it

This Brittany likes to cut hair, listen to music
[Obvious much?] and go to youth group. My favoriteee
bands at the moment are metro station, moneen, all time
low and between the trees. the passing time is also
very good. i\'m loving electronica/powerpop
