i knew i would've fuked that up somehow...

It is with regret that we announce MAXIMUM THE HORMONE have withdrawn from Soundwave 2010. We were super excited about having them on the bill but their drummer Nao is in hospital. The band have cancelled all upcoming shows inc SW 2010. We wish Nao all the best and the band pass on their sincerest apologies. Stay tuned for an announcement of the 8th band and a replacement for Maximum The Hormone.

SO FUKING PISSED OFF!!

..that was garenteed to be one of the better bands too...

but i dont have no heart.. respect to the band's drummer.. you were probs thrashing that shit out.. all respect and PLEASE COME TO PERTH ANOTHER TIME.. ill fuken be there!!!

Soundwave 'perth' 2010

So i truddled into the collectivly inclined retail establishment the other week

and made a valued investment into a 2010 #Soundwave ticket!

..and obviously.. well if you could see my face anyways.. I AM EXCITED!

majorly looking forward to {In this order} #A Day to Remember, #White chapel, #Dance Gavin Dance , #Maximum the Hormone, #Alexisonfire, #The Devil Wears Prada and maybe a little #Emarosa #Mushuggah and #It Dies today.. and probably #Placebo, if they dont infere with any of the good bands..

But anyways, so i've been conducting some intense downloading and listening, awhile i have about 3 essays overdue and 2 exams still to partake in but.. STILL MAJORLY EXCITED!

Aside from the listed few, I am kind of disapointed in what else the 'hardcore' lineup for the year included. Logging on to many chat sites discussing Soundwave 2010 and the best songs from the best bands, I was appreciatly given the best albums and songs from the best albums to check out, learn and be prepared for the big day. Unfortunatly to my discretion, they were of poor quality in lyrical, melodical and OFCOURSE who could forget thrashirical (my own invention; thrashirical: (noun) encompassing the hardcore 'growl', two step 'GET THE FUK OUTTA HERE' attitude, and a bit of pit)

Infact.. most "amazing" artists given to me where pop, alternative shit; which i dont.. hate.. persae, in fact i'll listen to anything at least once before condeming it.. but please.. for YOUR own sake, for my completely in tact.. completely unswollen, unbleeding and zist-free eardrum.. HARDEN THE FUK UP!... i thank you

And ADTR if your reading this.. I sincerely promise that the perth soundwave ADTR pit will quite literally be torn the 'FUK' up, ripped the shit outta, and will bleed until the very lifeblood it exsited upon withers away into it's own shadow.. by yours truely!

GONNA BE INTENSE.. at least it fukn better be! hahaha wall of death FTW!!1!

The Purity of Volume

Fellow hardcore kid/deathcore mosher/thrashcore pitter/internet nerd..etc

You are here, because alike me, am so submerged into the culture that is online music that it sprays, quite literally, out of your ears.. whether in the form of headphones or the warmth of blood spurting from your eardrums.

So I stumbled upon this site after hearing of some intense underground downloading going on, and I was quite impressed in what i have seen. So far all the music I've come across is decent, indie shit that dosen't need the conventional radio scene to flourish, just a good crew of word-of-mouthers and a constructive pitch to get going. I'll commend the inventors of this site, along with the bands who keep the site going. Free, intresting and a good listen. My first impressions are going very well.. and i look forward to a few years of intense music listening, at least until i get that ear bleeding senario checked out or become deaf.. in which i won't hold any one accountable for :P
