Act I - The curtain opens; in walks our hero. Hailing from northern Michigan, he is currently a second year student at Grand Valley State University, majoring in Film & Video, a possible minor in Theatre. He has an eye for movies, an ear for music, and a taste for passion. He has felt much pain before, bet let us not forget he stops to smell the flowers every now and then. Laughs are shared, and so are tears. People come and go; live and die. He has seen many places and done many things. But in the grand scheme of it all, his life is just beginning. Our hero establishes himself in the world just before the lights fade to black...
Act II - Time passes and people change, for better or for worse. The seasons slowly change into both beauty and desolation, and so does our hero. The winding road goes on for what seems an eternity, but we all know it comes to an end sometime. Our hero is driving along this road; a medium-close up frames him. He has lost his way before, and found his way as well. Currently, he questions the direction he is going. If the map says this is the right way, but you feel that it is wrong, what is right? A bend in the road approaches, but our hero does not seem to notice it...
Act III - This is the final act of our hero's life. It has not been written yet. We will never know when the final act in our lives begin. Our hero's action is still rising; we may not see a final act for quite some time...
The curtain will inevitably close for all of us, but it is what we do with our three acts that define our lives. Care not about the reaction from the crowd, for this is your only performance. Our hero lives for the present act, not worrying about the curtain until it is finally closes in front of him. And when that day comes, he will gently shut his eyes and take one final bow--not for the crowd, but for himself.
