Free fall to the brink of insanity
Shed all reason and worldly cares
Speeding, fleeting through mortality
Through broken hopes and scares
The clouds consume all that you are
Enveloping your consciousness
Daring and dreaming and raising the bar
You submit to inner weightlessness
Ecstasy in every breath, every blink of an eye
Weaving through life and , time slowly passes by
This is what freedom is
Ascending beyond all bodily constraints
Reaching past my weaknesses
For this picture my mind paints
Time and space become intertwined
In a harmonized web of illusion and reality
In this new level of mind
Nirvana brings forth the purest morality
Ill-conceived notions of right and wrong
Are abandoned at the door
An altered awareness grows ever so strong
And leaves you craving more
Great times at the Warehouse tonight, big fan of all 4 bands that played and they all killed it. Hadn't seen Dunkirk Spirit (formerly Sold Separately) or Syntrap in over a year so I was really looking forward to this one. Saw some cool people at the show...Couple people I haven't seen in a while...Some of that was cool and some of it wasn't. The only gay part of the show was I had to go alone cuz my parents had to give me a ride. But whatever. Sold Sep is better than ever and I hope they make the trip back up here soon....That's about the length of it.
Great new band on Victory Records that everyone should check out. The guitarists are amazing musicians with pummeling double bass drums and aggressive vocals to match. They put on a great live METAL show, heavy as hell without sacrificing musicianship. Their new CD 'Embrace The Gutter' is a masterpiece, go buy it, now. You will be glad you did.
Heh...
So I signed up for this PureVolume thing...there are a lot of cool bands on here...I don't know if this is like with all the fake people asking you to comment their cell phone pictures or not...but I hope it isn't...that's about it..

Did you happen to catch The Birthday Massacre and
Deadstar Assembly? I am a pretty big industrial-head
too and I love DSA so I had to check out that show...
probably my personal favorite there since Godhead,
Society 1, and VAST back in 2003. That makes me feel
old. lol I saw that In Flames is on your list of
favorite bands... are you going to Sounds of the
Underground in St. Paul? That\'s my next stop on the
concert train... As I Lay Dying can go kill
themselves, but fucking GWAR! :) Can\'t pass it up!

Yeah, I had caught To Bleed For at the Warehouse a
couple of times... I think once with Dope and then
maybe with Slitheryn?? I might assume that\'s where
you go to frequently rock out, since you\'re 16,
correct? ;) I love that place! All ages venues kick
ass.
