My name is Rushaa. This is pronounced Russia and not Roushar as some people still insist on calling me even though I have said a hundred times that it's like the country. I like rock. I like other things besides rock but there are too many for me to list here without getting bored so lets just say I like a lot of things. Like black for example. Some people say it's not a colour and just the absence of colour but it doesn't necessarily have to be. Anyway enough physics. I am short, chubby, don't do enough exercise for my own good, I generally am pretty good at academics and crap at sports and, like most people, I wish I was somewhere other than here. But only if I could take my friends with me (including the ones abroad). And I am very contriversal in my opinions which may partly be to do with me getting way too into Oscar Wilde at the moment, but what can i say, I'm obsessed.
Finally, Another Post
Well, I didn't really speak very much or in great detail in my last blog post but pretty much I've been spending all my time sat at my computer so nothing much has happened. You'd think with one month of doing that (summer hols here) I'd have written some pretty epic songs but not really. I so far have 9 1/2 crap rambling of a crazy person which I have to edit again to try and make them semi-crap so that hopefully by the end of the year they'll be somewhere around mediorce. According to Sam (short for Samaza, she's our vocalist) I have to start "make happy songs not all depressed and death like". I just stayed kinda shocked on my end of the computer thinking what we might have lost if someone had told Gerard Way that. With that said I felt very justified in keeping them morbid.
Also I we talked about band names (we have none), how she wants me to stay up all night just because it's convinent for her time zone and how I want a nickname that is actually good and resembles a name of some sort (the two I have are Child Of Emo and Mother Rushaa). Unsuprisingly we did not find one.
I was reading my first blog post I did here and it turns out I was right about the "No Regrets", which I gave up pretty much instantly, but ah well I can always try again if I really want to.
Anyway in a few days I'll be returning to the land of the wet (A.K.A: England) to visit my all my wonderful relatives, oh the joy! The only thing I'm looking forward to is seeing my friends again and inshallah someone like me will come to school next year so that I can actually have a conversation with someone about The Dresden Dolls rather than talking to a blank stare.
First Blog Post
Well, just to let you know I probablly won't write about my daily life etc here on purevolume, not that it's bad or anything but I have a blog at livejournal (i know - cliche, but it's good). More of a update on how our band is going etc. Actually I may do little updates every month about what's been happening in my life but that all depends on how I feel and whether I'm not being lazy as usual. The major thing this month is that I've started my "No Regret" program which means intense fitness training. Which I bet I won't do.
