The CD changer goes back and forth
Repeating every breakup album I've ever bought
Take me to that so empty feeling
Those cool catatonic states of being
I can only stare out the window
Wondering when this drive will ever end
Will you save me?
Can you make me whole?
Create beautiful fiction
Forever to be told
You can't simply base me on ideology
More than a stereotype, I'm a fountain of beliefs
Sometimes I'm too weak to see this through solo
Sometimes this path leaves me feeling hollow
I see myself now
Maybe a mountain atmosphere
I don't necessarily love you
But I certainly hold you dear
Be all that I have, no need to say forever
Just walk this path you and I together
Enter my insides and read through every line
Flatter me with my own poetry, I'll fall every time
Will you save me?
Can you make me whole?
Create beautiful fiction
Forever to be told
Every prophet starts out in some room all alone
And we craft our beliefs and make them our very own
And you may be the one to share something I feel
As if I've opened myself whole, and you're the time that heals
We can argue right or wrong and probably never agree
But the one thing that stand true, youre seeing the best of me
And can we believe Gods to blame if youre mistreated
Maybe it's all a scapegoat, but one certainly needed
