Hello... updates about my band VIE

Quick updates...

Our first full length cd "Black Market Prophecy" is in the final stages and should be done this month. We will let you guys know as soon as we have a release date.

We had such a f**kin great time play at The Kittie show! The Whisky was packed! Most if not all the other bands were really more of a kinda "hardcore" sound. And that is not us we are heavy but not hardcore. SO we weren't sure exactly how the crowd was gonna react. But they were GREAT!!!!! Very responsive and totally into it from the very beginning. So it was like HELL YEAH now we can relax and rock this f**kin place and that's what we did. It was awesome!! I wish we had a longer set because I did not want to get off the stage!!!! (btw we should have live pics of the kittie show on the web very soon)

Then a few days after the Kittie show we were on our way to Tempe/Phoenix Arizona. It was a long ride but fun. Especially when you are riding with Mike and Jose who love to verbally abuse each other. (example: Mike to Jose, "I sh*t on your mother, you f**kin hippie") yeah this is at around 8:00 a.m. and it contiuned from there... Male bonding...? We had two shows and we had a great time. Played with a very cool band called "Antique Scream" the first night. Met some very cool people at "The Old Brickhouse". Roger, Lee, Brittany and Chelsea. We ended hanging out there until it closed and then went and ate Thai food at 3:00 a.m. I couldn't believe there was a Thai restaurant open at 3:00 a.m. Anyway we are hoping to go back and play there again very soon. "The Old Brickhouse" is very cool club! Great Sound, Great Stage, Very Cool People. We drank a little too much but oh well Screw it!!(btw) there are a few pics of the trip on our myspace page www.myspace.com/viemusic

This weekend we are on our way to Vegas!!! Let me say I freakin love Vegas! Everything about it!!! Love!!! So this should be fun. I will write and tell ya about it when we get back and if you are in Vegas come out.

Oh sh*t in my rambling I forgot: We also have a live video that was shot for www.flashrock.com on our myspace page as well(look above for address) so check that out and we also have t-shirts for sell now and will have a store up on the site soon. UGH!! the System sucks.

Ok last week I go outside to go get some lunch I look across the street to where I had parked my car earlier and a beautiful prison jumpsuit orange color just leaps out at me. First thought, I love orange, which true it is , I'm sorry, was my favorite color. Second thought what the hell is orhange on my car. Ohh shit. Yes my car has a huge bright orange boot on it. I must admit it is my fault. I have accumilated a shit load of parking tickets and thought that I could foolishly avoid and manipulate the system and if I pay one evey 2 weeks then that would be fine. Well appartantly not. Did I forget the part that this has happened directly across from my work. Complete and utter embarrassment. I then had to take the lovely public transportation provided to us from the amazing and always fair and courteous Los Angeles city district. Bastards! I must say I kinda liked the bus. It reminded me of when I live in the greatest city on earth, NYC. So that was cool but that was the only cool part. I get to the freakin office and have the priviledge of interacting with the employees of the los angeles parking violation bureau who by the way are complete rays of sunlight. I felt so loved especially when she told me that the operator at the switchboard that I had spoken to earlier when I need a helping hand. Had forgotten to tell me that I would only be allowed to pay with cash or money order and that I need to bring my proof of insurance. BTW this is now 4:30 and the office closes at 5:00 p.m. SO I am screwed until the next nmorning. I of course start screaming and yelling at her "You didn't need proof of my fuckin registration to give me the frakin tickets" Crying and yellin at the same time. It wasn't pretty but thank god for the rather thick piece of plexi-glas, that hass "BITCH" carved into it, between us. So off to the bus I go. Only to get to work to explain to my boss why my luch ahs lasted for 4 hours and could she please give her white traash employee a ride home. Which she did, fortunately and unfortunately. Then to have to do it all over again at 8 a.m. the next morning. Finally after 4 trips on the LA City bus 2 screaming matches with women who could body slam a summo wrestlerand $881.00 dollars later. Yeah I said it. $881.00! Fuck. I learned one thing as much as I hate the fact that some asshole has the right to tell where I can park on a public street and how long I can park there. Fuckers! In the land of the free. Yeah as long as you follow the trafficsigns and pay oh an pay alot, they have me by the balls and if I try to avoid paying them or avoid them altogether I end up going thru more hassle and payiong them more money than I would ever ever want to give this government out of my own pocket. If I was gonna give money away it would be to a charity that I believe in not to a citythat looks for ways to screw over there own citizens. FUCK YOU! .

HEY- My band VIE is Opening up for Calico System and Kittie

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know. I just got off the phone with the promoter and my band VIE is opening for Calico System and Kittie. Very Excited. We are a very new band and alot of cool things have happened in such a short period of time. This show is gonna kick ass.

Just the chance to choose is all we ask.

Virgin

I am a VIrgin to purevolume as a Listener! I have a band profile on here but I couldn't really interact with people just other bands. Way too limiting! I love all kinds of music and Art in general. Please no jerk offs. I love how people come on these sites just to be total asses because they can hide behind a keyboard. I don't get it but whatever makes you happy dude works for me as long as you stay away from me. I love meeting new people and I am totally open minded about pretty much about any and every thing. Can't learn if you won't listen. Ok this has become way too boring. I have now bored myself and will be leaving. (I am at work and who the hell wants to work at work, hench this blog)
