Forever and a Day

A thousand mouths of a thousand souls
Spatting words into the harsh cold
Saying things we do not know
Exchanged wicked glances with one another
We dont even recognize our own mothers
The blue eyes leak silver streams
Down the soft cheeks of an an innocent victim
Bruises are formed the blue eyes glazed red
No where to go; no place to rest
Marks are made as the skin makes way
For more cuts and an eternal pain
Cries of a turtured soul fill the dark
Where fears of a pitch shadow lark
Crawling, stretching on bleeding knees
The night is filled with frightful pleas
Oh dear god
Make it stop!
Unbearable pain explodes all around
A defeated body hits the ground
Bullets fly
Revealing every uttered lie
Puddles of innocence spilled out
Staining the floor all about
One more breath from a cold lost body
Hes placed and forgotten into a deep dark hole
But through mercy we can never understand
Hes lifted throught the blue skies of the very grace we breath
To the sun, the moon, the stars
To a place very very far
Where wings as white and as pure as true love
Flutter aimlessly above
He lives with someone greater than us
Greater than our worshipped gods and video games
Far richer than precious gems locked up tight in a chest
At the bottomless ocean laid to rest
A smile reveals true and tender happiness
Never to be stolen again by a vengeful heart
Here to stay
Forever
And a day
