Not too sure what this is for, since I'm really only here for the music. Local and unheard of bands tend to be my favorite, so you'll be seeing many from Ohio on my favorites list. I'm currently learning French and Japanese, and no, two languages at once is not hard. I like reading and writing and music of any sort. Classical to Rock (and it's many sub-genres) to Big Band to Rap with a message. From what I'm told, I'm somewhat cynical. Oh well. My current musical obsession is Billy Joel. My favorite song is probably The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke by Queen. The one thing that angers me most about listeners is that more often than not loyal fans abandon bands once they become more mainstream because in their minds 'mainstream isn't cool'. Since when has music been about cool or uncool? Shouldn't music be about what emotions a song can pull from you, and not about what 'scene' you fit in to?
So... not too terribly sure what this is for... but I am bored. I'm guessing this is where people talk about music they like, cds they bought, shows they saw... anything really. So. My musical taste ranges from Classical to Rock (and it's sub-genres) to Big Band to Rap that actually has a point. Country is good at times, and Pop, well, 80's pop is good. I don't remember what my most recently bought cd is, so I'll guess Yoko Ishida. Last show I saw was Styx in June. Ummm, currently, aside from typing this I'm working on a Bible crossword puzzle book. Yeah, I have a life...
