So...a few of my favorite bands...Coheed and Cambria,My Chemical Romance,The Dresden Dolls,Bring Me The Horizon,HIM,The Smiths,Morissey,The Prize Fighter Inferno,The Fall of Troy,The Cure,The White Stripes,Rage Against The Machine,Pantera,Metallica,Megadeth,From First To Last,Amon Amarth,Type O Negative,Rush,The Number Twelve Looks Like You,Alanis Morissette,Slayer,Alkaline Trio,The Mars Volta,3,The Devil Wears Prada,The Used,Nirvana,Danzig,The Misfits,Iron Maiden,The Doors,Black Sabbath,Led Zeppelin,Every Time I Die,Queen,As I Lay Dying,Tegan and Sara,Chiodos,Black Flag,Guns N' Roses,Avenged Sevenfold,The Used,KoRn,Taking Back Sunday,Mindless Self Indulgence,The Birthday Massacre,Atreyu,Panic! At The Disco,UnderOATH,Slipknot,Aiden,The Beastie Boys,White Zombie,Rammstein,Radiohead,He Is Legend,Evanescence,Norma Jean,The Chariot,Cradle of Filth.....Just to name a few. Also many local Athens bands like Music Hates You,Tacit,Lost Art,and Franklin Grove. All of these have influenced my musical style along with other things in my life of course. For example,I'm really into movies from fantasy to horror to historical fiction to action to comedy to pretty much anything else.I love theatre,videogames,comic books,and most anything else that doesn't involve so much reality... I play all kinds of music.Mainly guitar but I also play bass,drums,mandolin,trumpet,and a little keyboard.I write in my spare time.I play a bit of laid back acoustic,some alternative,hardcore,thrash,all kinds.I do tend to play more progressive-styled music.I'm in kind of a trippy band called Entropic de Youth that would probably be best categorized as progressive/experimental/folk rock.Me and my girlfriend are always talking about organizing a new musical endeavor that's guaranteed to turn some heads.I'd like to do a more straight-foward heavier band too though if anyone's interested.
