Im sitting here in my computer chair awaiting the ever so famous Groundhog Day. And this is where the long debate about the ground hog comes in to play. Here are some common questions that are always victorious for not getting answered. Thanks alot Jeeves...you asshole.

Is it one word or two words? Groundhog...Ground Hog. Does "hog" need to be capitalized if it's two words?

Why the hell is it called a GROUNG HOG...it looks nothing like a pig..if anything it resembles a woodchuck or a rather large Guinea Pig...which brings up another debate. Guineas are chicken type things. Did a Guinea and a Pig do it and make a Guinea Pig? Is a Ground Hog a close relation? They both contain that rather peculiar word that represents a rather ugly animal named SWINE.

Why does the fate of Spring rely on this little varmit's shadow? If it's going to be a long winter then by god it will BE...a long winter.

Just some thoughts.
