ASL Homework --- March 7th 2007. By Zoë. 1st website: finger spelling http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCuAtDKSSmI Since I thought all the websites you can search from popular seach engine (AKA google, ask, etc.) would have already been used I looked up a lesson on the alphabet on youtube. The approach to learning the alphabet inst as simplistic that you feel like a baby learning to write your ABC’s for the frist time (even thought, really, that’s what you are) the approach is funny and energetic. Not only does it teach you the letters, but the right ways to sign them, simply and smoothly. The person in the viedo really seems to know what he’s doing. 2nd website – words. http://commtechlab.msu.edu/sites/aslweb/browser.htm I like this site because it’s really simple and up front. A few of the sites got me confused, I didn’t know where to look for the viedo, or how to search the words. I Also like how they also put a description of the sign, which you could write down in your notes for use later. The screen is a bit small, but nothing can be perfect. The fimlers did a good job of focusing on ther performers face and hands, by lighting and a dark background. 3rd website – joke. I’m very sorry, but due to time I couldn’t find one that I understood well enough, to feel comfortable enough to put on this sheet. I hope you’ll understand.
