I have been Christian all my life. I have never wondered whether or not there was a God. But I am not a Christian just because my parents raised me that way.
Most people in my denomination have their children baptized as infants but having a Baptist dad, my parents decided to allow me to make the decision on my own. I was baptized when I was seven.
At age 12 after five months of studying the Methodism doctrine and much prayerful consideration, I made the decision to profess my faith openly and became a full fledged member of the church.
Just because I became a Christian before the teenage years hit, doesn't mean my life has been easy spiritually. Thrown into a world filled with hate, I am constantly exposed to things as little as cursing and a big as gang fights on the school campus. Just the other day, I saw where someone had spray-painted MS-13 on one of my school's buildings. It was small but it was there. My family situation hasn't been so hot either. My dad and I, over the past couple years have grown apart, and have waited until now to try to pick up the pieces. This has NOT shaken my faith in Jesus. I know that with God's help our relationship can be renewed.
The following things are TRUE, I am VIRGIN, I have NEVER had a drink, I have NEVER done drugs and NEVER had a tattoo. Believe me, this could not be possible without my faith in Jesus. I go to a school where every day I see at least one or two pregnant girls, and marajuana is an ever-present smell. Those of you who are reading this and are Christians, STAY STRONG. Your strength may a light to someone else. God bless all of you for hearing my thoughts.
oh and for those of you who are probably laughing at me because I'm a VIRGIN, don't take my purity and innocence for inexperience, I have seen more than you know.![]()

JESUS LOVES YOU!!!!
I see you I see you riding On the serpent’s back You shouldn’t be there You know better You should be here In My arms I reached for you To save you But you pushed Me away Let Me pick you up And save you from the serpent The ride may be smooth I know it was tempting But you ride further away from Me You know where you should be You should be here On My right hand You know where you should be Let Me be your guide Let go of your control I will lead you here You need to trust Me
You build up a wall to keep Me out When all I want to do is knock it down And be close to you So I can hold you in My arms And let you know you’re safe with Me Even though you do not feel safe with him You need to get it through your head that I am not him It is because of him that you found Me I will not turn you away I will not use your words against you You can always talk to Me when you cannot reach her You may feel that she is your only ally in this fight You built a wall against him but with her knowing it She loves him but she can’t figure out why you don’t You wonder how you would live if she were to leave you Take comfort in knowing that she won’t, for now, Take comfort in knowing that I won’t either, ever You want to figure out who you are I will help you I am here now Talk to Me
My mom had surgery. It was SUCCESSFUL! The tumor is out. Her lymph nodes were clean. If you don't know what a "lymph node" is let me put it this way, if there is cancer in the lymph node it is BAD. She'll have radiation. It'll be November 2008 before everything is over. It'll take anywhere from 6 to 12 months for her body to recover and her hair to grow back. I'm just glad it's out of her. Now I have to decide whether I should get tested for the cancer gene. Apparently breast cancer runs in my family.
I guess the subject line says it all. My mom is done with chemo and will have surgery to remove her tumor in a few weeks. She still went to work everyday during chemo. Can you believe she actually was able to keep up with a preschool class of 16 3-year-olds? Anyway, it's all over with and her hair is starting to grow back. It may take up to 3 months for her to get back to normal cuz that's how long she was on chemo.

I\'m doing good! Yeah, I\'m kinda excited to graduate
too... I\'m also excited because we\'re really getting
into rehearsing for our school play. It\'s nothing big,
kinda corny, but it\'ll be fun. So what else is going
on with you?
