I love music, movies, sports. I like to promote good bands. I don't have internet but I always find a way to get on the internet. I play a lot of instruments so if you have a question on an instrument, I could probably help you out. I usually play string bass and bass clarinet in band, bass in jazz band (school band **tear**), trumpet in marching. I also play guitar, drums, all flutes, all saxophones, french horn, Irish flute, Polkalele, cello, violin, viola, piano, all clarinets, oboe, and harp. yes I am a band geek and I hate it, I just like to play instruments. ha ha that doesn't make sense but whatever. Hopefully I can go to college somewhere over seas and train to be a producer. If that doesn't work out then I'm going straight into the US Marines and playing oboe for the band because they only have like one player **tear**. plus my friend who's also a recruiter can get me into fighting and scary stuff like that. freaky stuff, I know. let's just hope I go to college. ha ha_____________oh yeah for sports I absolutely love snowboarding, skateboarding, Motocross, Skiing, BMX, Surfing, Soccer, and Rugby. I'm not going to lie, I know way too much about it. Not everything, but a lot. can't wait for the Grenade Games and Volcom Snowboarding challenges this year! ha ha.___________ I used to do a lot of freestyle motocross but that didn't turn out the way I wanted it too. Same with skateboarding but when you take a big fall on a half pipe and you can't even remember your name afterwards... bad deal for sure.

Super Sad!!!

Okay, one year ago from today a good friend of mine committed suicide and so we all wore his memory shirt yesterday and today. Everyone was super quiet and tried to stay happy and everything. Then later in the day, 5 other good friends of mine just got into a car accident. Most of them are okay but two of them had to go up to Mayo clinic.____________________Everyone hope with me that they ALL going to be alright.***tears***

My picks - Ligion, Otsara (not done)

This time I'm going to pick two bands randomly. First one - Ligion. Not THE Ligion , just Ligion. Lead Singer's first name, sweet huh? 'The' names are so out. ha ha. Anyway, this band's from Nashville (originally Cleveland but whatever) and they are far from country. Songs like 'On The Way' are super catchy with a nice strong beat. Easy to sing to, easy to dance to, and do whatever else you want. The sounds that come through that song are amazing. At the beginning, it sounds something like from an old phonograph player, real fuzzy and neat sounding. Oh and the lead singer voice is something super different. It's not like an all time phenomenal voice but just the way he shapes his singing is one thing to listen to. The bass and guitars are pretty simple and not in a bad way either. They really compliment his voice so well. And another thing, GO LOOK UP THEIR TOUR DATES! Granted I haven't seen them live (actually I've never ever been to a show before **tear**) but I heard they put on a crazy set._______________

Me on bass (It's all about me, all about me) ha ha

I'm going to talk about myself (selfish, I know) because I'm a jazz bass player and I have never been happier to not play bass in my life. I know it's like sacreligious but when you play string bass and then switch to electric bass every five minutes playing the same songs OVER AND OVER again for like five months that your band director chose. It's even worse when your director has no clue how to play (he never took a stings class in college) and he's telling you you're playing something wrong, and clearly, you're not, oy vay super frustrating. you'd feel my pain too.______________________This is not the main blog that I right so don't worry. oh yeah I'll post some pictures sometime._____Christa Rose
