So it's been a while. (News: I met a boy.)
Sorry I havent' been here in a while. I think purevolume's changed a lot. The scene is a little different, and I don't think the focus is on the music anymore. It's all about socializing. Well, that's what facebook is for! But things that have changed: I can drive, and yes, I only started learning 2 months before my birthday, or 3 weeks before Driver's Education. HA I'm more mature. Yea really? Yea. It's crazy, I don't even believe it. I met a boy, well, I've known him since the beginning of sophomore year. That was the year my hormones were all like *blegh-splat* and so I had a crush on him at the beginning of the year, and made an effort to become friends with him. I didn't like him seriously though, but we became better friends over the school year. He finally told me he liked me more than a friend at the beginning of junior year (this year) ahahahahahaha. Oh life. The reason this is so exciting, is because this is all new turf for me. I haven't had a boyfriend since kindergarten. XD . So just yesterday, we went on our first "date", although it wasn't just us, his bud (and my bud too) Alex was there. Less awkward? I guess? BUT WE HELD HANDS. (and almost sorta kinda maybe cuddled!) Sorry, purevolume is the only place I can spout shit about that because none of my friends in school have one. SO! Yeah, and I think he's just about as perfect as guys go. (haha, yea, I don't even believe it's happening sometimes, me?????!?!?!?!!! of all people.) (I'm going to state WHY he's amazing, no need to read really: He's South African and really open-minded, liberal, not too religious, LOOOOOVES music, diverse and eccentric, he is internationally educated, or just educated really, he's a hard worker, and we're compatible horoscope-wise!, he's funny, really nice, charming, we converse well, he likes, and at least, KNOWS about manga and anime, in fact, he likes anime, on the physical side of things, he's TALL, I'm already 5'9" he's quite some taller than me, he's got a really nice build XD, and I'm quite sure he's fit, really, he excercises/plays sports but isn't a jock, he's really an eccentric kid, JUST MY TYPE, and he doesn't flaunt his strength by like taking off his shirt and posting picks of himself flexing, he shows it off when he gives you a hug and picks you up to spin you around :], and he's good looking [what?!?!?????!] yes. he is, and to top it ALL off! he has great fashion sense, or at least HAS some. He's ah-mazing, truly. X] I don't even believe this is happening to me.) I have also changed my music preferences. I'm not about the mainstream kids anymore. I've discovered a newfound love in eccentric, indie, electronica music. But I like everything. I like anything that involves true talent and hard work. Whether it's old school classical to urban underground hip-hop. It's all good. :] I'm section leader for flute in Marching Band. I haven't watched TV in 3 weeks. I'm on AIM like... every night. I'm happy, not really too stressed... yet... Things that haven't changed: I'm still a KRAZY azn kid. I still LOVE manga, but I'm so broke, I haven't bought a book in 2 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEK!!! Stupid American economy! I don't remember the last time I haven't bought manga books in over like... 2 weeks... I still dress like a cool kid. I think. I'm sill eccentric, and have a very diverse group of mostly eccentric friends. I still just LOVE music. I'm still cool. :] ----------------------- P.S. Sorry for blabbing about all my life bits.
