azuzephreGo placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, Speak your truth quietly and clearly;and listen to others, even to the dull and ignorant; they too have their story. The World is full of deceit, But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love of music;for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.Nurture strength of spirit in the warmth of a melodic embrace...to shield you in sudden emotion. And whatever your labors and aspirations,in the noisy con of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.

Well, I love music, and I love life. Guitar is a passion of mine--i've played for 6 years--everything from classical to jazz to punk to classic rock to metal to indie. I compose music as a way of expression and euphoria...its an amazing feeling. I plan to take music with me wherever I go in life, and who knows, maybe do something amazing. You'll never know until you try. I live in Idaho, and I'm proud of it thank you very much. okay, okay, more or less I'm just making myself feel better. At any rate, I love my life and I have no regrets. I love new people and I never regret meeting them. I love music and "regret" shouldn't harbor existance in the same sentance with it.

Obsession with Appearance

That person in the mirror seems quite intent upon staring at me until I leave, so I grant her the of a good long look. Have you ever really looked into that person in the mirrors eyes? It can be pretty interesting. It doesnt feel like theyre your own. What? The mirrors eyes are your eyes? How do you know? Maybe the mirror lies. Ill bet that never crossed your mind. Perhaps I should ask just to make sure.
Err, helloerrmirror? Uh, yeah, so how are you doing? Oh I see, you lead a bit of a boring existence. Yes well, sorry to bother your perpetual duty of reflection but I was just wondering who that person in you is. Thats me? Really? Are you sure? How do I know youre being perfectly truthful?
To my utter and complete astonishment the mirror answers. Or, to be entirely honest, I answered. Thats the funny thing about mirrors. They can only talk when they have power over and can influence an image. Need an example of a mirror in action? Remember Snow White? Well get your mind off her because Im not talking about her. Im referring to the mirror in Snow White. That is an example of a mirror who, yes who, lies. You know that a mirror can only speak when they are influencing an image, and the image obviously comes from the person in front of them. If I were the and saw that face when I looked into the glass, I would be pretty anxious to ask about the condition of my appearance too. Mirrors can twist their reflections, but only with your help. Thats right, you have to be willing to recognize the lie in the mirror as yourself. Okay, okay the mirror in Snow White was a bit of an exaggeration, but it was for explanatory purposes. Many people give power over to the mirror without even realizing it. You may look into the glass, and accept the imitation of yourself as truth immediately. Thats the first dangerous step. Hey, what do you know another step metaphor. But this is realer than what is in the realm of comfort. Be careful with the authority and control you grant others over your life. Not just mirrors. I guarantee you that you will be taken advantage of. Eew, sorry Im going all councilor on you. Not to worry, Im saying it to myself really

Realer than Real

Here I sit. My calculus, looking dejected, lay in front of me untouched for the most part. Pencil dangling idly in one hand, I stare off into the unending space that can exist anywhere in the world if youre bored enoughthough this is not the case with me. In my mind, Im not really sitting my kitchen, nor doing math homework for that matter. No, I am in fact, in a far off land; one quite nonexistent. Well, now that I think of it that is not entirely true. In my mind, it seems to be realer than reality. But, isnt that the case most minds that are not deprived of imagination? I mean, we all have one or two places in the back of our heads to which we drift off to from time to time. And when one is there, really there, it seems to be the only really existing place. Everywhere else seems only to be shadows or reflections of what actually is. So it is with me.

What is it?

There are many causes of pain in this world. To those who chose to acknowledge reality as it is, this fact seems obvious. It is that simple. However, excepting the few more intellectual of this earth, most refuse to recognize the true source of hardships. For that matter, what is paintruly? One might say, for example, that stepping on a pin is indeed a source of pain. Or, on a deeper level, the loss of a loved one can cause immense inner suffering. The truth of the matter is that pain is entirely relative, in the sense that it can have entirely differing interpretations to those with differing experiences. The pin-pricked foot of the one may not compare to the -pierced soul of the other, but as neither has experienced the others anguish, it would be difficult to explain one agony to the others victim. Thus, though in a broad sense both have experienced pain, their descriptions of the word may be surprisingly diverse. To ask one to sympathize with the other would be unreasonable.
And so, the world continues to live its impossibly dissonant reality, without the harmony that exists among commiserate beings who can sympathize with one anotherfor though we may try to console those around us, the fact of the matter is we simply cannot truly sympathize with eachother without actually feeling their pain.
Thats where human nature comes in. We, who are for the most part, generally good beings, have a natural impulse to soothe others in anguish...regardless of our ability to understand. That is, some of us do

THECHEAT8484

Yes... i know u meant vocal. Ya i didn\'t turn them up
cause when you first hear yourself singing someone
else\'s song and it doesn\'t sound like theirs then it
kinda sounds weird so i was kinda afraid to turn them
up. And now i just found out i had the lyrics wrong so
i might redo it all together. All they have on the
internet are just video\'s and the audio isn\'t very
clear.

THECHEAT8484

Ya i\'m working on it! Give me a break. but man! idk
what i wanna do for vocals on the song i kind of have a
melody but im stuck in between a more jazzy feel and a
more pop feel. it\'s tough....

THECHEAT8484
