hey, so as you already know my name is charly. no its not short for charlotte or charlene, its just plain charly. i live in a small town in Ontario, Canada and i cant wait to get out of here. im 17, and in my final year of highschool, YUSSS! im a decent height, 5'4" ... but sometimes i wish i was taller. i have gone through my blond stage where i bleached my hair; stupidest idea of my life. i have been a part of the 'in crowd' as well as someone who wants absolutely nothing to do with popularity, which is where im at right now and i love it :] music has been the biggest influence to my life by helping me figure who i am suppose to be in this crazy world. i enjoy being artsy whether that involves painting, blogging or grabbing my camera and driving to who knows where to take photos. i love photography. i can get along with anyone, unless they decide that they don't like me, then im not going to waste my time trying to become friends with them. i would say im probably shy when you first get to know me, but to most people i can warm up pretty quickly.

I discovered the song 'swing life away' by rise against when i was listening to 102.1 TheEDGE as i was driving home tonight. I frantically began pressing the INFO button to see who the song was by because i instantly fell in love with it. Of course, as i pressed the button it decided to show the NO INFO message... which is always a load of BS, because eventually the title and artist began to scroll across the screen of my radio. I had seen the video for hero at war on MuchMusic one day, i loved that song as well, but i kind of just let it slip my mind.
It's official now... Rise Against is definately not new music to the radio waves, but i can honestly say it is the music that will be filtering through my speakers more frequently.
