At this time, we are announcing the "Happy Suicide, Jim!" digital tour. Not to be mistaken with your "ordinary" tour" that actually involves seeing the band, paying to get into the club, and drinking overpriced beer; the "Happy Suicide, Jim! Digital Tour" gives the simulacrum of a tour, such that you don't get to see the band, you can buy affordable beer, and you don't have to pay. In fact you can download our entire album for free over a 12 week period.
If you haven't already, you can download the 13th track, "Suicide Girls," right now at http://musicdish.net/tlkt/tour/free/
Really . . . right now. Go ahead. I'll still be here when you get back.
One horrifying element of the simulacrum is that when you deal with representations of the real, there is no limit to the number of replicas that can be created, except in this case, where we have limited it to six. Every week, starting now, we will offer a track from the CD, "Happy Suicide, Jim!" on six different sites (myspace, purevolume, hi5 and others) for download for free for one week. After the week is up, another song will be available and if you missed one you'll have to get it from a friend or, god forbid, buy a copy of the CD.
As far as details on future tracks, the info will come from these newsletters that you can skim until you find the part about getting the free song.
You can find out more at the links below and even download Track #1, "Authenticity," at our myspace:
