So many nations with so many hungry people
So many homeless scrounging around for dirty needles
On the rise, teen suicide, when we will realize
we've been desensitized by the lies of the world
We're oppressed and impressed by the greedy
Whose hands squeeze the life out of the needy
When will we learn that wars, threats, and regrets are the cause and effect of living in fear
Who can help protect the innocence of our children
Stolen on the internet with images they can't forget
We represent a generation that wants to turn back a nation
To let love be our light and salvation
Sing to me of the song of the stars Of Your galaxy dancing and laughing and laughing again When it feels like my dreams are so far Sing to me of the plans that You have for me over again
People see my tears and wonder y...but wut can i tell them? I NEED AN ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok. so here’s the scoop. Depression is a battle. no matter which way you look at it. It’s definitely a battle we will al fight at some point in our life. and most of us will win. but we’ll be scarred for life either because we didn’t check our blind or weak spots before we jumped into the fight. or before you didn’t see your enemy at all and he got a lucky sucker punch. I think that preparing yourself for depression isn’t always necessary. because honestly, who is ever PREPARED to be depressed. I think it’s more important to guard yourself with more important and stable things.. like good friends or family. someone who will be there for you no matter what. or someone who has a good solid influence on you. surround yourself with people likethat. and don’t put so much emphasis on things that don’t REALLY matter. such as a boyfriend or girlfriend. I know it always sucks losing a significant other. but you can’t let that war with depression control you. you ALWAYS have the upper hand. you can always win this battle. but most people think they can’t. they think THEIR depression is unique. that it’s different from everyone else’s. and somehow it is way stronger and you just can’t beat it. well as for those people. you have a lesson to learn. Depression is only as strong as you make it.

I'm too lazy to figure out how old you are, chances are
you're probably older or the same age as me. Anyways,
depression obviously is a battle and I don't know how
long it's been affecting you. However, something that
may help (it's the only thing that's helped for me) is
dance. Not just dance, but any physical activity that
you enjoy. I hate P.E. and all that crap but I love
soccer and ballet dancing. Maybe you can look into
that?
