break free. (part 2)

truth will forever hold the same.
while man is caught in a downward spiral bent on destruction, hope still remains.
peace is a viable option and grace is attainable because of a power greater than that of man.
while the darkness of society seems to prevail, a light is shining on.
deep in the heart of the forgiven that light is growing.
day by day, night by night, the sun sets and rises, but now the hearts of men are changing.
daily routines and rituals are being broken and the strong are stepping forward.
it is our turn to follow the example of those before us.
it is time to step out.
it is time to be an outcast.
it is time to cause a ripple in the calm waters of destruction and despair.
we are called to throw rocks of truth--rocks of light--into the stillness of the murky waters of deceit that society so comfortably hides behind.
a tsunami is growing and the strongest walls of the enemy cannot stand against it.
this battle, the great war of our time and of the ages, has already been won.
it is time for the victors, the faithful, to take our places in the ranks of truth and fight for freedom and for forgiveness...to fight for the holy one.
once again, it is time be a light in the darkness.
it is time to break free.

I’ve grown tired of modern society

Of religious bigotry; holier than thou attitudes.

I’m sick of ‘political correctness,’ ‘he said she said’ court cases.

I hate the lack of intelligence that permeates everyday life.

I’m tired of normalcy, of the bonds that culture has placed upon the individual.

These social norms and trends are an attempt to keep ‘order’ and to promote normality, but they are our downfall.

To deviate from a social trend is to be frowned upon. To be a despised character, an antagonist.

We are stuck. Bound by the cultural status of being ‘normal.’

The sun rises and sets; yet nothing happens. Constrained by the masses, plurality is promoted, yet when one strays from the majority, they are cast out as idiots, as insane, as a danger to society.

It is time for us to stand up. To make a difference. To no longer allow the rules of society to control our lives, our choices. It is time for us to no longer care about what other people think. It is time to be ourselves. Do not hide from the outside world. Escape from the prison cell that you have been held in. Spread your wings and fly, be free. Set out to make a difference.

For too long have we sat on the sideline watching as the world continued on without us. It is time to stand up. To make noise. It is time to break free
