Persecution

So, okay, this is kind of sad that my first blog post has to be an angry one (I just know I'm going to look like an emo XD), but I just need to vent. What the heck is it with religions constantly attacking the Catholic church? Why us? Why do we always get singled out? People are always attacking us; oh, Catholics drink blood, Catholics worship Mary, Catholics aren't really saved because they haven't accepted Jesus, Catholics this, Catholics that. What is it with all these accusations? We don't drink blood, we pray to Mary, not worship her, and as a matter of fact, we ARE saved because we HAVE accepted Jesus as our Savior!!! I mean, what the crap?! The Catholic church doesn't persecute other churches like this! We don't have pamphlets explaining why Jews aren't saved or have sermons about why Mormons aren't going to Heaven. You NEVER hear about the Catholic church attacking another faith, but you always hear about other churches putting down Catholics. It's not right. It's persecution, I swear. And then, to think that he might have rejected me just because he didn't think I wasn't saved...wow. It just really bothers me. I thought he was the type of guy who didn't care what religion you were, just as long as you were a nice person with a good heart. And then to think he may have kept his distance just because of my religion and a confusion about Catholics...wow. It just...I cared about him sooo much...I cried over him, I dreamt of him, I would've died for him, okay? That's how much I cared for him! And then to think he might be one of those ones who discriminate and persecute a religion he knows nothing about...it just...wow. It's hit me hard. I guess he just wasn't who I thought he was...I don't who to believe anymore. Who can you trust today? *sigh* Man, I just want to go Home...
