We will circle eachother in a metaphorical boxing match soon enough, dancing around one another delicately and exchanging punches, blow for blow, in some momentous battle of epic proportions. Float like butterflies and sting like teddybears, as I could do you no harm. Each jab is a cheek kiss, soul-searching question, mutual laughter, hands-held skipping through the streets, inspiration, coffee and cigarettes, pillow fight, breakfast-in-bed, mind-excavation, sunny-day picnic on a red and white checkered blanket with sun tea and poetry and serenades on acoustic guitars while you sit up in a tree and then I chase you around the sandbox and we remember being ten and after the fairy dust wears off I fall back into nineteen and just lay in the grass with you appreciating every single molecule on this earth until our conversation falls into flowery run-on sentences such as this one---- I can't wait for you to just bludgeon me in the face. Shes curled up like a ball
In the dark corner of the room
People come and go
But they always leave to soon

Her eyes well up
The tears roll down her cheek
There was no one to catch her fall
Her dreams dried up with the creek

The thoughts in her head
Run so fast, there going wild
The only thing to slow them down
Are the contents of her bottle

The darkness is growing darker
The walls are closing in
She trys to run away
Inhibited by her sin

The guilt she feels is overwhelming
The knife lay by her side
As the blood outlines the pain
She closes her eyes, but theres no where to hide

Her eyes are closed
Her broken heart has stopped
She once had it all
She lost it to time, time beat by the clock

The sun is rising
The sunshine here to stay
We were too late
She has been taken right where she lay

My heart is an open wound. The scars build up. Every time you get to close, it falls apart. New scars have formed, my heart is turning hard. My jet black heart is all fucked up and its falling apart.

Dear Boy,

I dont understand why its so hard to be honest with me when you know i am with you.

I dont get why you try to protect something you dont love or care about.

Maybe its for your own peace of mind.

I dont cry over you.

People dont hurt me, I only hurt myself. I wont let you or anyone else close enough to break my heart.

Dont worry about hurting me, you would have to have loved me to do that.
