Sfikas returns with Cheap Tiffany Rings new partner Tiffany sfikas, the two-Time british champion who was devastatingly dumped by her pairs partner just weeks before expecting to compete in her first world championships here, revealed yesterday that she had found a new partner. Sfikas, an american, has devoted three years to obtaining british residency so she could compete for britain with andrew seabrook.The partnership appeared promising and they finished 10th in their first international event, the european championship in lausanne in january.But after british officials told them they had to improve their stamina by training harder, seabrook decided to take the easier path and become a coach. Sfikas's mother denounced the action.She said yesterday: "We called the seabrooks to beg them to the website make their son give our daughter just a few more weeks and compete in the world championship to make her life's ambition come true, but they said their son was an adult and had made his decision. "Tiffany was absolutely devastated.Michael is her saviour and i think he'll make a good partner.He certainly shares tiffany's work ethic.They plan to train in swindon and will compete in the british championships late this year with the goal of representing britain in the 2003 world championships. " Aldred's previous partnership was disbanded after the british olympic association chose not to send the pair to the 1998 olympic games, a decision which still angers aldred.Since then he has drifted around the world performing in ice shows.
