(JUST THOUGHT I'D GET IN HERE THAT I AM NOT HERE TO MAKE FRIENDS... NAMELY, BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT TRULY TRUST ANYONE YOU DON'T KNOW ON SITES LIKE THESE... I'M HERE FOR THE MUSIC NOT TO CHAT LIKE ON A MYSPACE... thank you, however... you may leave a message about things on my page like my music tastes and such, just as long as there's no cussing in it...) Hi! ^_^ ...I got nuthin'... but below aren't my only favorite bands... I like a scarce amount of non-rock music (such as the Asian orchestra that is Twelve Girls Band). But my favorite bands also consist of Metallica, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nonpoint, and The Offspring. Underoath is more of a legendary band and Five Minute Ride, Plastic Rubber, Pierce the Veil, and Snort are more like my current interests/obsessions rather than bands that have a "throne", if you will (the amount of bands I'm into isn't static and can always change... usually and increase or decrease in one or two bands is the case, but I don't "swap" like with my faves.). Some of the Japanese bands are listed in my favorites just because I think they're really good (so like current obsessions in the category of Japanese bands). The ones that are my favorites though are Heartless Things, Lostthing of Memory, Rebellage'85, and Water Weed (there'd be more, but the others I'd add are probably split up already and I don't list bands that split up as favorites). One more thing, though many may disagree, I feel the greatest band ever (the one that made the biggest impact on my life anyhoo) is Linkin Park!!!

Long live The February Heartache/Enter The Collector!!!

Just thought I'd recommend this band to people. Personally, I loved the sound! The dude could really hold a note! Unfortunately, as I found out that TFH changed their name, I also found out that the new band split up. I'm more of a fan of music with screaming, but I found that soft songs like Improvisation (Reprise) could be just as addicting. So, I say, LONG LIVE THIS BAND and I hope for a new project soon!!!

Btw, if you want to hear the old, fast paced (yet a little broken) version of Improvisation (Reprise), go to the ETC page I have on my page. BUT, if you want to hear the current, improved, and a bit softer version, go to the other Enter the Collector page on my page entitled "A&R Page" so you can hear the new version and three other songs! I recommend you search for their old stuff from when they were The February Heartache too just because it was equally as awesome (their stuff under this name has a lot more screaming and is generally harder though it's still really emo as well).

1/30/08: I think that the Japanese band Seasick may have split up as well, of which funnily enough in a way I like this band for the same reasons... if I find out it's true I'll make an entry on them (even though I have only heard close to half of their stuff).

Japanese bands! (more to come)

My Japanese friend once showed me a band called Dir En Grey and one called Antique (or I think it's Antic) Cafe. They were somewhat good but I was very curious. So recently another friend and I started searching this place for more bands. Our search is not yet done, but we've found some good stuff (and some... different yet cool stuff like the Argentine ska band that is Running Potatoes)! Here's the current list ripped off of my music playlist (which I intend to post soon as well):

(I've ranked these bands based off of what I’ve heard on their Purevolume pages): • GREATEST: Heartless Things • AWESOME: Rebellage’85, Seasick, Lostthing of Memory, Gauge Means Nothing, Water Weed, Fact, Ellegarden, Envy, Prove • AWESOME AS WELL (acquired taste): Nitro Mega Prayer • PRETTY DARN GOOD: Acacia, Lost, Snort, 16reasons, Tenho • JUST OKAY: Naiad, Anywhere But Here, Unmistake

NOTE: The bands under "Just Okay" are usually bands that would be REALLY good if it weren't for some sort of flaw. Pretty much everything above them is likable (except for Nitro Mega Prayer, which I made it its own separate section because I like them). So yeah, just thought I'd let you all know that.

NOTE: This was originally a general foreign bands section, but I failed too find too many good non-Japanese bands. I’ll post the top 6 best ones below though for ol’ time sake… (this may change if I happen to find some more as good as these here... OH, and these aren't in the order of best to worse, but I will tell you that Muteki, Plastic Rubber, and Radio Cambodia are the three best): 1. Muteki (Peruvian) 2. Plastic Rubber (Chinese) 3.
