Hi! ^_^ ...I got nuthin'... but I think it's safe to say I'm a screamo/post hardcore addict and pretty much only enjoy listening to things in that or related alt./rock/metal genres... though I'm not closed minded and will try other people's music as well if it doesn't fall into a genre related to alt./rock/metal (can't say I'll like it). It took me forever but, starting with Underoath (which I feel is the best band in the world), I eventually got into the genre myself with my friend J (though I think my cousin ultimately influenced my taste in music, even though I found my own taste eventually... after trying pretty much EVERYTHING BUT stuff in this genre). I also feel that the band Linkin Park made a HUGE impact on my life since it was the first ever band that sparked my interest in music (they were my main favorite band for awhile, also shown to me by my cousin) and, besides Twelve Girls Band (which, actually, is non-rock... it's Chinese music), this is the only band besides Underoath I own full CDs from that I still like. Anyway, so I'm only here for music and I'd be happy to try anything anyone here can recommend me and share some stuff with anyone else at well, but I'm not here to establish friendships or to get to know people personally like on a Myspace... just want to share my music and try new music. And... well... I got nuthin' else (lol... oh, and DANG I use parentheses a lot)! :p

Ringtones!!! =D

Actually, the smiley face doesn't really mean this blog post is anything special. But my phone has this really cool feature where it can take (high quality) videos and then use the audio from the videos to make a ringtone. I've used this feature to record clips of songs I play on Purevolume and have made some pretty good quality ringtones with this feature. I just thought I'd list the ones I've made here:
Format: "Song" (by "Artist")

Seven Thousand Miles for What (by Of Mice & Men)

Four Swords Five Lions (by The Handshake Affair)

Quit While You're Ahead (by The Word Alive)

HTML Rulez D00d (by The Devil Wears Prada)

Role Reversal (by Confide)

Inquiry: An Offering (by A Hope for Home)

Roads That Don't End and Views That Never Cease (by We Came As Romans)

To Plant a Seed (by We Came As Romans)

BD_L3ftoverZ! (by One Morning Left)

Dez Moines (by The Devil Wears Prada)

THE ULTIMATE PLAYLIST!!!

Hey, if anyone who actually reads my blog posts (doubt anyone does, but hey, worth a shot) is up to trying any new music, then you might want to head on over to this Freewebs site (I refuse to call it "Webs" now) I just created. I'll explain how it works later, but basically it's just a very organized list of all the music I like that'll get updated as I find new stuff. I'm hoping that anyone who sees the site can find one or more new favorite artists off of what I have listed. I need to put the finishing touches on the site, but feel free to let me know what you think of the music I have listed and if you found anything new you liked! Oh, and if you have any recommendations for the list (or I guess for just new stuff for me to try), that'd be great too!

www.freewebs.com/listxcore/

The URL is also in my profile if you just want to click on it and go straight to the site... OH, and I moved my list of songs I own to this site as well. I kind of made it part of the list of music, though there's some stuff I own that I wouldn't really recommend (if you have my taste in music) because my taste had been changing rapidly before I finally gained my love for screamo/post hardcore music. You'll probably find a lot of mainstream stuff both in the songs I own and in the early portions of Volume 1 of the Playlist.

12/13/08: Just thought I'd mention that I completed the summary of what the site is for and how the site works (it's on the main page)... YAY!
