I'm in high school and it's pretty much sucks there everyone thinks it's the greatest place ever. I like all sorts of music. My favorite types are ska, hardcore, pop-punk, punk, and metalcore. Here are some of the bands i like Saves The Day (98-04), A Day To Remember, Hit The Lights, Farewell, Four Year Strong, Valencia, All Time Low, The Audition, All Your Friends Are Dead, Veara, Dang Were On Fire!, We The Kings, A Cursive Memory, The Movielife, I Am The Avalanche, The Starting Line, Something Corporate, Promise Of Redemption, Four Letter Lie, Midtown (00-02), Set Your Goals, Fight! Fight! Fight!, Aniston, Upper Class Trash, Mayday Parade, Akissforjersey, Across Five Aprils, With Honor, Secret Lives Of The Freemasons, Burden Of A Day, Relient K, Dead And Divine, Silverstein, Chiodos, Cinematic Sunrise, This Is Hell, Forever The Sickest Kids, School Boy Humor, A Loss For Words, Memphis May Fire, Oh Sleeper, Confide, For The Fallen Dreams, Before Their Eyes, Every Bridge Burned, Black My Heart, Casey Jones, Evergreen Terrace, A Skylit Drive, The Devil Wears Prada, Mychildren Mybride, Saints Never Surrender, Anvils Away, Nowhere Fast, Aim For The Skies, Gwen Stacy, The Morning Light and many more.
They are the greatest band ever in my opinion. If you haven't heard of them then where have
you been the last 9 years. They have released such great music in their career. Without them
we wouldn't have Chiodos, Say Anything, Silverstein, Senses Fail, or any great bands that
have come out of the Jersey music scene or the pop-punk/emo scene. You should most def.
check Can't Slow Down, Through Being Cool, and Stay What You Are. Through Being Cool is
their best work. It's their best work because songs like Holly Hox, Forget Me Nots, The Last Lie
I Told, My Sweet Fracture, and Do You Know What I Love The Most. The best well known
songs on Through Being Cool are Rocks Tonic Juice Magic, All-Star Me, and Shoulder To The
Wheel. Stay What You Are reminds me of Weezer, The Early November, and Death Cab For
Cutie(odd). Freakish, Cars And Calories, As Your Ghost Takes Flight, and Nightingale most
stand out on this one. At Your Funeral helped them break out in 2001 when Stay What You Are
was released. I think they don't get as much credit as they deserve.
