bored at work.

I finally found a site I can go on at work where I can listen to music. Woo hoo!
I miss California, but I'm starting to accept the fact I'll never be able to move back, so I'm stuck in Texas for now. I miss knowing about bands, and I really miss promoting for bands. The Dallas/Fort Worth music scene is totally different than in Orange County or Los Angeles. When I tried to put up posters when my friend The Strays came here last October, many clubs here refused to let me put them up. And if I did they were going to call the cops. How the hell are people supposed to know about shows and bands when you can't promote and put posters or flyers up?!?! It's stupid.

Anyways, some shows coming up for me:
July 29 - Reel Big Fish (I'm going to try and go depending on if I have the money)
August 2nd - Ozzfest (free tickets, why not?)
August 4th - Projekt Revolution (HIM!!!!, PLACEBO, Mindless Self Indulgence, Julien-K, MCR)
September 16 - Muse! <3

That's it for now. I wish it was December so I can be 21, and be in Finland and Paris. blah
