The Worlds Best Kept Secret...
hey. i know something you may not know. people may have never told you. it IS the worlds best kept secret, but it is also the best thing to find out in all of the world.
Maybe you feel alone, maybe you think no one loves you. Maybe you'd rather die than live on more day like you are. Maybe you have no hope.
But i can tell you there is Someone who loves you. He loves you more thank you could ever know. I can tell you that with Him you are never alone. I can tell you that with him there is HOPE. He is your only hope.
His name is Jesus Christ. He is the only son of God. Ever heard of him? Well i have. He is my Savior and my best friend and because i Him i have that hope and love i was talking about.
Ever heard of heaven and hell? They are both very real. Ever thought about where you'd be going if you died today? The reality of it is all people who don't know Jesus Christ are comdemned to eternal torment in hell. Anyone who has ever done anything bad...sin...will go to hell. That is everyone. We all have done bad stuff. We are born with something called a sin nature which is like a virus from Hell. That is hopeless.
But there is another place. Heaven. Eternity with God.
Jesus is the only way to get there. Jesus, the son of God, was sent to earth, lived a perfect life, sinless, blameless, never did a thing wrong, and then died on a cross to take away our sins. He was buried, but 3 days later he conquered death and rose up, alive again. All to get rid of that virus from hell that we have.
the bible says this :
"This is how much God loved the world. He gave his Son, His only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed, by believing in Him anyone can have whole and lasting life."
I believe in Jesus Christ. years ago i prayed for him to come into my heart, forgive me, and be my savior. And He did just that. And if i died 5 minutes from now i know i'd go to heaven.
The question is, what about you? If you want that you pray this...
"DEAR JESUS,
I KNOW AM A SINNER. I HAVE DONE WRONG THINGS. JESUS I NEED FORGIVENESS. I KNOW THAT YOU DIED ON THE CROSS FOR ME. THAT YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN. COME INTO MY HEART JESUS. FORGIVE ME. I WANT YOU TO BE MY SAIVOR. I WANT TO LIVE FOR YOU. CHANGE ME.
AMEN.
If you just prayed that, and never have before, welcome to the kingdom of God. Your a Christian. Jesus just got rid of that virus. That hopelessness? yup thats gone too. The Coolest Youth Group in the Freaking Universe
Hey ppl.
i just wanted to let you know i have the freaking best youth group in the world. (yeah. pretty much) and you should come if you live anywhere remotely near Manchester, CT. 6:00-8:30, Sunday Night. ages 12-24. Church of the Living God. Wherevery you're @ it is worth the drive. but if you live somewhere totally random, like Thaiwan, Jamaica, Nebraska or Norway, then check out the website, www.mergeahead.com , there are some pretty sweet podcasts and stuff on there. but the point of all this is...
