DCI show

Well it's 1 a.m. and I just now got back from the DCI contest. The Colts stayed at our school a day or so ago, and they were awesome in rehersal, but they couldn't pull off the big win ( I was hoping they would). Instead they got 6th out of 7 D1 corps which was totally bogus because their show was really good. But I did notice they made quite a few mistakes but they were still better than Carolina Crown ( they made second). The Blue Coats came out of it with the win, but I didn't see their performance until after the awards were handed out. Their encore show was awesome. The Pit was tight, the Line was tight, and the solos were amazing. It was a good show, but I'm hoping that next week's will be even more impressive. I've got some friends in corp and I'm going down to watch them next week. I'm gonna go clean up. Peace.
