check out the new kids on the block- New starting over! They totally ROCK! It takes getting used to though, cause they don't sound japanese but they still sound cool though! I'll say!
This is a question which i have come across at times when i have wondered, whats the point of living if there is no freedom in practically everything we do as we are ruled by a capitalist state which has lead us to fight illegal wars, heavy unemployment, constant and 'unprepared for' recessions and above all loneliness. The aforementioned topic is greatly exemplified by the old, the Grey and the withered away. These elderly pensioners have also grown in moderation throughout the years due to innovations in medicinal practices, however what DOES happen to you when you've gone old and withered away? Have you ever wondered that? Well i have, i realised through close examination of Alan Bennett's collection of monologues called 'Talking Heads' and through documentaries, newspaper articles and through other mediums that many old people suffer in silence without any contact with other people, especially those whom never had children or couldn't have children. One monologue which really interested me was called 'A Lady of Letters' which was based around an energetic, nosy busybody known as Mrs. Ruddock who constantly sent letters to people of authority to sort out certain problems which she felt should be dealt with. Now, on the surface she could purely be deemed as a busybody know-it-all who wanted to appear better than everyone by pointing out their mistakes in their 'busy' lives, however underneath it was a call for attention. She wanted to be taken seriously so that she could have a purpose to carry out, or have a job, although all she attained was police warnings of her behaviour of 'disturbing the peace'. Finally, when she was in prison, she thrusted aside her odious mannerisms and prejudiced attitude in favour of kindness, understanding and a forgiving nature, as she encountered many other prison immates such as Bridget who was a prostitute who had killed her child accidently whilst drunk, of which she relentlessly had nightmares of. Regardless of the crimes that these women have committed which appeared in the eyes of the law as worser than the crimes which Mrs. Ruddock had accused other members of her neighbourhood and society for; Mrs. Ruddock talked to them equally and was delighted to have companions to talk to. Thus, the idea which i seem to find extraordinary and unconventional is the irony that Mrs. Ruddock, without any exceptions felt more freedom in a prison cell with immates than she did in her own home. This is amazingly weird, especially when prison is portrayed greatly as not being free and being condemned, although this character twists this around and insists that prison is freedom, compared to being at home. This for me makes me wonder whether the old are being neglected and not given the freedom to think for themselves, to be with people who they actually want in their company and to not be placed aside by their sons and daughters to some of the most incapable homes where the workers are ill-trained and of course, the familiar word 'neglect' comes into view again as this is the only promise that the government, NHS system and society itself is able to keep, amongst heaping promises. The UK, amongst many other countries appears to be obsessed with youth, with the constant anti-wrinkling beauty products on sale, adverts of young people wearing clothes, younger people being employed in a higher position whilst older people are sacked and left to endure an unsatisfactory retirement fund and ailing, long-winded death. There appears to be no reason for most older people to live, there is no reason given or provided for, there is no big retirement fund for older people to use to experience the treats that they deserve. Where is the justice in that? I certainly see none. Thus, looking back, i believe society has indeed decided that rather than 'shouldering the burden' of their old father or mother, it would be much better to just 'plop' them in a home. However, there are other nations such as India and Iran which do no such thing, they have the older generation stay with them and the young, so that both are not alone. I think this is an amazing prospect for the Indian and Iranian older generation to look forward to but i do not see this happening in the UK, especially the way our culture disregards the older generation in favour of the young and it's well-enforced and constant emphasis on being young which has lend to many
Have you ever felt that if you didn't have any of your friends that you would have no life and that you would just wither away and die? If you have, then you have really got to think about it and experience being alone, it's not as desperate and lonely as people and the media make it out to be. I know that total loneliness sucks but i'm not suggesting that, what i'm suggesting is that there are times in your life where you should experience loneliness. I believe that if we are not alone at one point in our lives but always forever surrounded by people, we would never experience the extreme depth of total indepedence. Independence is when you can rely on yourself, you make the decisions for yourself (no one else), you decide whether you want to watch this film or not, you feel comfortable with yourself and who you are. This is exactly what happened to me, most of my friends all went off to university and i thought it was going to be hell for me, but it wasn't. I began to depend on myself more, whereas before i had always depended on my best friend, but before she left, i realised that i had depended on her too much, like a slave would upon a slave master, of which i had felt like at times of the latter. I felt the freedom of doing what i want to do for a change like playing games, listening to sum rock music and reading classical books rather than going shopping for 4 hours (God how i hate shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!! Waste of money and waste of your damn life, thats what i say!). Now, i have more confidence in myself and the decisions that i make are fully compliant by me and noone else, people may look at me and think 'loner!' but guess what? I don't care 'cause i've got enough confidence in myself to not give a fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah that's what i said, because that has been my dosage for the past 8 years, i don't know what the hell i did to cope before then (probz took the odd paracetamol lo1). Like rite nw, for the past week i have been listenin to Lacuna coil non-stop and playing 'Alien 3' on the old Super Nintendo ( i no i no- my brovas been sayin that all week, 'but the Super Nintendo's old mannnnnnnn)- well i don't care, i still luv it to bits even if it's nw nearly 20 years old!/ Basically, i believe that people do not really have a real purpose on the world, i mean truthfully- hw do ur explain ur purpose in life being meaningful if you're a petrol shop worker or a Rubbish man/woman? So i think that whatever you do, you do- there's no meaning behind it, no fate or destiny- jus wat u wanna do reli!!!!!!!!!!! Therefore, as it is my life and i can do whatever the hell i want, no questions asked- i choose to play games and listen to rock music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides, at least i got sum wacky memories to take wid me when i die, some funny, some sad, some down-right weird- Anyways i'm off, gotta study quick-time for an approachin GCSE Maths exam (Mod 3)- anyone who is in my situation at the moment, heres some much needed advice- DROP THE CONSOLE CONTROL PAD RIGHT NOW AND GET TO WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know its hard, trust me (bin there, done that) but life's better cruisin, than crashin on bumps on the road 'METAPHOR'! sO...........I'M OFF- BI!!!!!!!!!!!11
Listen, i don't know who i am! Is it true that the way you dress advocates who you are? You see, that is why i don't judge ppl on the way they dress, because if sum ppl r like me then they would be dressin up jus to make themselves feel gud, not to impress others because that is jus degradin urself as a person with the right to decide what they want for themselves.
So i say fuck off to the ppl who consider the dress-code as a serious occupier of a person's personality, ur dress-code says fuck-all to who u reli r, if u wore leather compacts it doesn't mean you're gay or r uptight but that's wat most ppl would decide to presume because of a typical dosage of 'Stereotype' abuse, don't deny it because it is indeed everywhere and it continues to dwell amongst society like a ghastly 'Black death' disease which refuses to go away, no matter how many non stereotypical promises that ppl make, it cums bk with blacker vemon.
The Stereotypes of gays, goths, posh ppl, suicidal ppl, asian ppl, white ppl, indians, Rich ppl, black ppl, rockas, celebrities, intelligent ppl, tramps, etc etc- if you no what i mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I think 'Stereotypical' abuse is wrong and it shouldn't be tolerated in any circumstances at all, i believe that the way ppl r percieved by the way they appear or what they stand for does not exemplify exactly their personality, (Goth ppl do smile u no, and Rich ppl ain't always spendin their dosh), anyways, all i can say abt myself is that i'm compassionate, considerate of other ppl's feelings, quite authorative at times, funny, spontaneous, bubbly, quiet, optimisstic, happy, depressed, sensitive, inquisitive, dark, kinda moody, lippy, opinionated, open person, and glad that God has given me a life!!!!!! Woo!!!!!!!! Hoo!!!!!!!!!!! As long as i have a soul, i will always be Anni. Anyways, peace out for now- gonna listen to sum Dir en grey!!!!!!!!!!!! (Good times) lol, but i gotta clean my room/////////////(Bad times) lol- damn!!!!!! Bi for now.
Where was i when J-rock (Japanese rock) was invented? J-rock is absolutely amazing, with bands such as Penicillin, New Starting order, Dir en grey, Nightmare, XJapan, Malice Mizer, Moi dix mois, L'arc en ciel and many other j-rock bands practicing this unique rock genre. I mean, you can practically tell the difference compared to European and American rock bands- Japanese rock bands have this faint essence which draws you to their unique style subjecting upon topics such as society, love, murder, suicide but using this style which makes them differ. I recently got into this type of rock music by a band called Penicillin with music such as Romance, Flower garden, Limit complex and many others- i was totally into it like proper. And another awesome band called Dir en grey- if u haven't checked them out u jus have got to! Like your sanity depends on it!!!!!!!They had absolutely wicked songs such as Saku, The final, obsure, sajou no uta and many others. Trust me, if u haven't even considered dwelling upon the likes of j-rock, u don't know what u're missing 'cause i'll tell u one thing- u are missing a heck of a lot of talent right there- coming all the way from wee Japan- Jrock rulez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
