[THREE]

There is a man in my life that amazes me. Maybe we're still not together, but he will always have apart of my heart and I will always love him. I though we were going to be married but just having him in my life amazes me. He held me in his arms today and I could have just stayed there and stared at him the entire time. I was just happy to see his face again and know he thinks of me. We told each other i love you more than once but I know that it's hard everytime we do. I apologized for everything I put him through but looking in his eyes I knew he was in a hard position just being with me again. SO much has changed, but never my feelings.

[TWO]

Looking back on this last year, I have learned and been through so much. I have made some serious mistakes and I by no means can say I do not live with regrets because I certainly do. I know that they have made me who I am today and taught me important things (the hard way) but I know I am a stronger person because of it. I look back and I know I will never regret faling in love for the first time completely with Nickolas Matako. I was his little princess and I miss him so much. We talk every once and a while, but it's not really enough to know each other as deeply as we did before. He really got me and I miss having someone who does because I am constently surrounded by people who try to squash me into a mold or call me what they want. I would say I don't care, but I do because I care about the people I put myself around. I do not regret finding out my life is going to be photography. I love talking pictures of anything and everything, but not just that though, I want to go into photo journalism and so photography for magazines or newspapers and possibly even bigger things. Anytime you place a camera in my hand, anytime I look through a lens... I am home... I know that's just my... thing.

[ONE]

it's annoying seeing all of these girls that all look the same, act the same, say the same things, are into the same things. I feel like my generation is so un-origional. Hardcore will die someday [and i hope it isn't soon] and then we'll see who the real hardcore fans are. I swear if wearing overalls and yodeling was the latest thing or "non-conformist" movement, there would be thousands and thousands of kids my age who practically live on the internet who would do everything they needed to do for all their online friends, not like they were going to meet them ever anyways.. gah I guess I am just agitated. I met a kid the other day and he was like, "I AM hardcore, I am SERIOUS!" and I was like, "You don't LOOK hardcore." and he was like, "Well I bought this CD, August.. something.. and a band tee from this one hardcore band from Hot Topic so.. yeah. That's sooo rad." It made me so mad but I didn't even say anything. AUGUST BURNS RED. I freakin love that band and he's all thinking you have to look a certain way to be hardcore and just because you have a band tee doesn't mean you're hardcore.
And another thing- moshing isn't just jumping in the middle of a so-called pit, pushing and shoving guys around like you're in a 3rd grade fit. NO! no no no. Moshing is dancing. That's why it's called hardcore DANCING okay? Some kids just think if they go and dye their hair, buy some tight clothes and listen to two hardcore bands and think you're so hardcore and you're telling everyone about how you are SOOOO into hardcore bands. NO! You don't know anything about the bands, you don't know anything about the scene, you're not going to know what to watch out because you don't even know what you're doing besides just trying WAY too hard to get into a group.
Seriously, if there was a kid who was telling you that he/she was into everything you're into and is telling you everything and how it all goes and they're totally wrong about it.. you'd be annoyed too. It's like it's glamourcore.

IT"S NOT EVEN ABOUT THE MUSIC ANYMORE
IT'S ABOUT THE STYLE, THE HAIR AND UNORIGIONAL KIDS WHO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HARDCORE, EVEN THOUGH THEY SAY THEY DO.

I am really sick of it. Honestly, know who you are. Fads fade, kids. Know who you are and dress in what you want, but don't have the odasity to stand there, completely conformed to all the pictures you study online, and say that you're completely non-conformist. HYPOCRACY I tell you!!

Another thing. If you're going to be straight-edge and have the cute little x's on your hands, you'd better know what you're doing. There are some kids who are very serious about it and if you're going to profess you don't drink, dont smoke [not just weed and whatnot- that includes cigarettes] and don't sleep around. Seriously. There are kids I see at shows who are like, "Oh yeah, straight-edge for life!" and then 2 seconds into the 3rd band, they're popping out the smokes. NO. If you're straight-edge then you're straigh-EGDE! You're making us look bad. If you do those things, you're unedge okay? please people, if you want to be in the hardcore scene, it should be because you love the MUSIC and you're tight with your friends, not because you can dress the part. Hardcore is not a dress-up party allright?

whewww.. talk about a cop out?!
