Instead of being a little kid and listening to what you hear on MTV, why don't you try listening to GOOD MUSIC!!!! or discovering your own underground band to love and obsess over? take these suggestions:
Instead of the new Greenday (American Idiot and crap!) listen to the old stuff, or try the band Bombs Away (they're amazing!!!)
Instead of listening to the new Weezer stuff......listen to the old Weezer stuff (try the "Sweater Song")
Instead of listening to the new System of a Down crap, try the songs "Boom", "Sugar", "Spiders", "Shimmy".....any of the old crap.
Instead of listening to H.I.M......okay, there isn't any old H.I.M. stuff, they suck no matter what
Instead of listening to emo music (which IS good, no matter what many of you say).....cheer up once in awhile
Instead of listening to rap that you can't understand (even though you know you prefer rock), listen to the Gym Class Heroes
Instead of listening to what you hear on MTV, find your own stuff on purevolume.com
Try some of these bands:
If you like Weezer and Blink 182, listen to Straight Outta Junior High
If you like System of a Down, listen to.....well, there's nothing else like System of a Down
If you like Fallout Boy and Panic! at the Disco, try listening to Gym Class Heroes, or
Cute is What We Aim For
If you like hip hop.....I can't help you there, sorry!
